Do you know how frustrating it is to mentally tell a fictional character to just try to do SOMETHING but knowing that they can't/won't? It's maddening haha.

Ah dammit, I should have pieced it together sooner the significance of your text telling me that Kate was in the chapter and the bit about Central Park. Poor Kate :{ even though Kate would not appreciate me "poor Kate"ing her.

I like the whole 'Kennedy mentoring Darian' thing, even if it's just as her support system.

“Uh…” he just stared before bringing his blue eyes up to her face, “what?”

I like how everything is coming full circle, like with the warehouse being tied into Kronas and such. Also, the ending: goddammit.

I'm interested in how having Darian live in Kennedy's apartment is going to work out for everyone. Because while it helps Kennedy keep an eye on her, it also just puts Rose in danger.

Also I'm curious as to whether or not Kennedy is going to ask Fury or Sitwell about them not telling her about Darian's father. It's not necessarily a surprising piece of information, considering the organization behind her father's death, but it would be interesting to know exactly why they killed him for not joining.

“Fuck it, I’m so going back to being a soccer mom,” Kennedy muttered under her breath.

“You’d shoot the other mothers,” Steve replied dryly before falling silent.

Kennedy only kept the silence for a few seconds before protesting in a whisper. “Rude. And that’s not fair. I’d only shoot the ones that pissed me off.”

“You’d shoot all of the other mothers.”

I know he's disappointed in Kennedy but still, this little exchange here was my favorite haha.

Or the bit about Russia not being another universe.

I love how you write action scenes and I wish I could write them as well as you do. Seriously, I'm actually jealous; I really don't know how to write fight scenes.

I am absolutely in love with this. In the last two days, I have read the two prequels. I seriously could not stop reading.

My brain isn't functioning too well (obviously because I made about ten typos already just trying to write out this sentence and had to go back and fix them) so sorry this comment is short. But I'm really curious as to how Darian is going to play into all this.

I like that Steve and Rocko get along. Obviously Rocko is protective over Kennedy so the fact that he at least somewhat approves of Steve says a lot.

It makes sense that Steve's way of dealing with Bucky - or with any issue that would be bothering him - would be by getting someone else to talk about it or express their thoughts about it. I mean, he's the kind of person who usually keeps those things locked up tight and puts on a strong front that it doesn't bother him as much as it does, so hearing someone else talk about it or say that it bothers them would be a form of reassurance, I think. But of course, Kennedy is very similar so they just don't talk about it and when either one of them do, it comes out emotional.

So far so great, and I'll be patiently waiting for the next chapter.

I am hardcore excited for this.
