This was a pretty good chapter. I liked how we finally got to see the nicer, kinder side of Allie and Courtney. I now like them a lot more.
Looking forward to the next chapter and I seriously Corinne breaks up with that jerk-of-a-boyfriend Eric.

Asdfghj; I can't believe she and Eric got in an argugement about Tate! Though it was bound to happen eventually. At least the gis are fond of him, that'll make it much easier on Cori. I just hope she tells soon. I have this feeling that Allie and Courtney have already sort of caught on. That's my suspicion anyways. Anyways, very lovely chapter, update soon? :3

at first I thought it was a little unrealistic, too. but isn't that the point of a story? I don't want to hear about what Cori had for breakfast and her going to buy dresses. I want to read drama and romance, which is exactly what you write. :) the story seems very resolved but I'm excited to read more of this when you come back!

All I was saying was that most people don't swear as soon as they meet people, I never said people don't swear. Obviously they swear, otherwise I wouldn't know what it is.

I'm sorry that you feel like it's unrealistic. It might be that we are from different countries or that you haven't been in a high school setting in a few years. But in the school I graduated from, the surrounding high schools around it and the people who walk their halls are extremely like the characters in my story. I write things I know. You have Corinne, the egotistical bitch who is superficial and at the top of the social food chain and you have all of her followers or clique. I'm sure you had popular kids in your school and I'm even more sure that there were other kids that idolized them in some way. Then you have Tate who is a popular guy but for all of the negative reasons. He is that typical bad boy that everyone is afraid of. He's done drugs, he's gotten into fights, been to jail and many other things. Tate and Cori are not meeting for the first time, they are in their senior year of high school together. This is just the first time they have come into contact with each other. If teachers went reporting every incident that happens in their classroom, they would never be able to teach. Being called a bitch is nothing. And lots people swear, I do. And I swear at anyone I meet if I feel the need to, in fact I think that the comment you posted made you sound like a bitch but who am I to judge, this is the internet. Yes people are that harsh and many people accept that and if you haven't realized by now you are completely sheltered.
But thank you for reading the first chapter and stating your opinion, I appreciate the good and the bad.

Reading the first chapter... I have to say its a little unrealistic. Who swears at someone they just meet and have to work with? Are people really that harsh? Who would accept that? My professors would call that harassment most likely.. Hmm

there should definitely be some sort of climax where the whole school finds out about tate and cori! you have such a great sense of detail idk I just love this a lot.
