THIS IS AMAZING, mostly because it hits home with me, because I have Idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura, which is a blood disease (I'm thanking the Gods it's not cancer) that I get on and off which will make me go into the hospital for 4-5 days, then get out for about 6 months then i have to go in 4-5 days, with weekly blood tests, and with the platelet/ blood transfer, i know so much about so i know Martin's pain.

i'm so sorry to hear what you have to go through :( I remember coming across that blood disease when i researching! i am so glad you enjoyed the story though<3

Amazing. Great story. One of the few stories on here that actually made me feel something. Most of the things posted in here try to post the same effect that this story had but usually I just stop thinking about it and move on to the next story. But when Martin died, holy crap, the suddenness of it... Lets just say I was... Taken aback...yeah... And when the story ended, it was a bittersweet moment for me.
You did an awesome job, my friend. Hopefully you do end up posting the afterword part!

i did a lot of research but there's only so much you can find on the internet. i go to a school with a very big nursing program so i took what i found out on the internet and from a few of my friends and sort of threw it all together. hopefully i at least got some things right!

This story was amazing.. So perfect omg... I was just wondering, how did you get the info or whatever to write the nursing part? Like was that accurate with what nurses actually do or just sort of like improvising?
