I can't decide whether I want to see the Devils game against the Pens, the Canes against the Rangers or the Isles versus the Flyers, decisions decisions I bet Jared is stoked to play with his big brothers, and maybe the whole Staal clan is going to be there too That's great that Marc is supportive of Sky and Claude is being an annoying older brother, he needs to get laid. Can't wait to read more

I took her and my 2 year old son along with my girl friend and her 11 year old. It was nothing short of an adventure. :)

NC certainly is not a hotbed for hockey but the state is full of transplants so its catching on....I've been following the Checkers since 1996. And I'm fortunate to be a transplant from upstate NY so my dad is the one that introduced me to the sport. I am not a Canes fan though. I grew up a Rangers fan as we were affiliated with them until four years ago. I cheer for my boys that get called up but that's about it...

Well, N. Carolina isn't a hotbed of hockey fandom, I'd imagine, and the Canes haven't been all that this season (or pretty much the last, what, 4-5 years?). And when it comes to fan(atic)s, well, from what I've read it sounds like it would be hard to beat Philly in terms of its fans' passion.

Also, whatta mom to take your kid to a game last minute! And especially since it's something like a 3 hour drive? Yowch! Sweet birthday gift.

I actually live in Charlotte so it was a short trip to Raleigh for us. Honestly though, I'm pretty sure canes fans were outnumbered by flyers fans that night.

How sweet that Hartsy flipped your girl a puck; of course, he was probably happy to see a fan so far from Philly, it's quite a hike for most fans! I think that most players have a big soft spot for the littlest fans.

I am reading it!! Very interested in where it is going. Half expecting one of the other characters to pop up someplace.lol. I can read about anyone but the two players that have grown on me are ray whitney and carcillo. One impossible to write about and the other a guy many don't like.

I'm in the midst of posting/writing a Shea Weber story if you aren't already reading that......I have ideas for Viktor Stalberg and Corey Crawford but having a little writers block with them to be honest. I'm really thinking about revisiting Max/Zoe/Sean sometime soon..... Got anyone you want to see? I'm also thinking I want to do a sequel to this, maybe with a little more Claude. :)
