I'h happy that they are getting along now, the romance is back! I feel that Leighton is happy with that, but she can't let go all the times he hurt her, she can only hope that the progress continues. They are so cute! They seem to be "meant to be" (even that they are only fictional characters haha). Is John planning to take viagra or any sex plan?! Because I think he wouldn't say that to Halvo, idk, it doesn't sound like men talk... OMG!! Is he gonna sing her a new song?! Or propose?!?!? I'm so curious! "I was a girl, I couldn't bite my tongue for that long" LOL that's truth, women love to talk. I KNEW TATE AND PAT WOULDN'T DO THIS TO GARRETT! Thanks God! It's funny that Lei knows how to advise others, but not herself (aren't we all like that?)

This is such a great chapter! I most definitely love this playful/romantic/adorable side of John, even though I have a feeling that this good mood won't be around for too long... I just hope it lasts at least until his birthday!!

Oh my GOD I actually cheered when I saw this was updated-- I've seriously been checking like, daily for updates (that's how much I love this story)! Also good mood John had me squealing with adorable-ness, especially when he surprised her with food at work-- so cute! But I'm glad that Leighton got to get her fears about Pat and Tate off her chest, and I'm glad that Pat and Tate aren't actually a thing, so hopefully Tate and Garrett can get their problems figured out (as can John and Leighton? ehh? haha). I'm interested to see how the camping trip goes, and how long the good mood lasts-- and if John happens to catch Leighton's conversation with Tate, how would that affect their relationship? Anyways, I'm glad you updated, and I look forward to reading more! :)

This is so well written; I read all the chapters last night and re-read it today. It's so heart breaking overall but just so well-written and I'm hooked. I haven't been hooked on a fanfic in the longest time and I haven't cried because of one in the longest time either. Well done! Can't wait for the next chapter!

I just found this story and I LOVE it!! It's well written and omg, just everything. I feel like you really capture the drama really well and just... ugh, I kind of hate to love this because poor John and poor Leighton and PAT AND TATE, was NOT expecting that and I love that about this!!! Keep it up because I can't wait to read more (although I don't necessarily want to cry any more than I have while reading this, but the fact that I cry during it makes it so much better in a weird way, haha)

Oh, and some couple are just meant to be, having things in common is great, but sometimes love is stronger than having these things. Leighton should know that (and maybe show this fear to the relationship counselor).

I loved that she finally took a stand for herself about the way he talks to her. His transition between being an asshole and a vulnerable person with sad puppy eyes is the scariest thing. It's not anyone's fault, but John at least has a diagnostic (ok, I don't mean that on a "not a big deal" way, I want to say that at least he knows the chemicals in his head are the one to blame) while Leighton is f**king with her psychological and mental health trying to do her best and being judged for everyone, so I think she is in the worst position here. I hope he share some secrets with her, in other way she will have a mental breakdown of exaustion and lack of selfcare. The relationship counselor is gonna help. It seems that he is trying to get better now, after "the beer incident".
Plus, Tate and Pat?!?!? I can't imagine him doing that with Garrett, I hope he is just being super nice or texted her by mistake. It can't be happening, omg.
This part of "white walls" just fit perfectly to the story, congrats.
