Ah, mortification. It hits those of us vulnerable to it so hard and John probably doesn't really understand - as an athlete his fight or flight response has been trained into fighting (or at least playing his game). Poor girl.

I know you were struggling with this chapter because you had an idea for it and just couldn't get it to work. So this was a very excellent alternative to getting over that hump.

The use of flashback was perfect for the situation that occurred. You definitely kept this chapter straight to the point - very short but sweet. More words woman I know you're capable!

Now to the content of this chapter.

I like how she called Mike after all was said and done. Like of all the people she could have called, she called her older brother haha. But I really do like how close they are. It's so unique but cute too.

Mike sleeps so much. It's kind of great.

And then Brenna's reflection of what happened. So good. Looks like things are going quite well between the two of them... Well at least they were. It was all cute and domestic like you said in the story.

But oh man. I cannot imagine being in her position there falling off the bed in just a t-shirt (although I can't see that happening with me... I can't sleep like that) and Matt Moulson seeing.

Oh Brenna. You just had to run away.

I loved this part though That was some kind of dream scenario except in the dream the third man in doesn't stand there and try not to laugh. He definitely does not do that.

Because really, no girl wants that to happen. No one.

That was so sweet of Matt to get her number from John and text her... Although I'm sure John wouldn't be too happy to see that Matt wrote that he really has a thing for her.

And then John calls her as soon as she texts Matt back... Of course he's envious of that.

Oh Brenna. You're so conflicted and just need to go with it... It's John fucking Tavares. Jeeze.

That better not be the end of those two. Damn it Amanda. Write more soon!
