Oh, I love the idea of Taylor going back to the farm to work for the summer and dealing with Tylyn's cousins!

And I like Fleury too - she definitely is her mother's daughter.

And I am glad that Hairy had a good long life - I loved his point of view in the story.

Hairy would continue to provide love, support and her point of view as a member of the Crosby family. I think the addition of Mellow the yellow lab and Tater (of trouble ) would provide Hairy her own pack.

I know a Jack Russell who embodies Tater. He's high energy and game to play. He is a brat and needs positive direction. I'm sure Hairy would work at keeping Tater on the straight and narrow. I did think about giving Hairy mention in the Epilogue but I just couldn't. She wouldn't have lived that long. I was sad enough with Morty's passing. Honestly, I must have wrote Morty's hospital scene a dozen times. I cried each time. I could not let Hairy go.

In my mind the dogs would in time be replaced by Whimzy, Spud and Happy ( another yellow lab). I might be finished this story but am struggling letting my characters go. I like Fleury. But her story would be a good 20 years from now. I'm finding that hard to imagine. I am toying with a Biz and Lego story line. A friend wants me to write a Taylor succombing to the Hylkema Handsome. Sid, Tylyn and Hairy would be supporting voices in both of these storylines.

Thank you very much for your comments. I've truly appreciated them. I loved writing Hairy.

I really enjoyed your story - I loved the combination of actual events with your quirky twist on it. It really was entertaining. You really rooted for Tylyn and Sid to succeed - an improbably love story that really seemed to work.

I loved seeing a glimpse into Sid and Tylyn's future - to see that they were in deed blessed with children and cute little Fleury seemed to be the apple of her "Buppy's" eye.

It was sad that Morty died in the end, but it was great that he was able to hang on long enough to see Sid and Tylyn win the cup and to say a sweet goodbye. And I also loved the "December Romance" of Harv and Tylyn's grandmother. It really made you believe.

But I do have a question - what happened to Hairy?

I've loved every minute I've spent with Sid, Tylyn and their story. I just don't know where to go from here. Fleury might have a story. I'll have to see. Thanks for your support.

So glad that they found Hairy - way to go, Crankshaft!

I would love a little bit of Hairy's POV of the whole adventure!

And would have loved to hear Torts' rant after being beaten "by a girl"!

I love when you write from Hairy's point of view...cracks me up.

And two hunky Hylkema's - way to go, Taylor. I'll bet you'll be back in the summer!

    But what happened to Sid?

Robin Scherbatsky - totally my hero. In fact one of my best friends is just like her - and people actually call her "Robin".
Someone on the writing staff of HIMYM is definitely Canadian, because some of the obscure references that are made are just sooooo Canadian! My friend and I love it to death. And good for Tylyn for using the humour to lighten the whole injury issue. Self-deprecating Canadian that she is!

The silver lining of the whole injury saga was the mending of fences between Taylor and Tylyn. I think Taylor finally got it and was able to accept that Tylyn truly loved her brother - and that, given how desperate Sid was to contact Tylyn after his injury, how he would be lost without her.

And I think a wedding should be a reflection of the Bride and Groom really are - capturing who they are. And Sid is a hockey player...so is Tylyn...teeth or no teeth. Hell they can always photoshop Sid's teeth, if that is really important.

I love writing from Hairy's perspective. I have tried googling kibble and bits but no luck

Before writing about Sid's puck to the face i watched the video several times. It stlll made my stomach heave but I wanted be able to find the emotion so I could try to express that in my characters.

    Thanks for your support.~s
