I'm catching up, reading from ch. 27 onwards. I'm still not ok with them basically forcing her to live at Corey's. Bullshit. That's part of being an adult, having autonomy over one's body. Being pregnant doesn't make you less of a person, with fewer rights over one's body.

Man, I would kick Corey's butt so hard. Wouldn't allow her? Told her to get in bed? No man 'allows' me to go places and no man would ever be 'allowed' to tell me to stay in bed if I didn't want to be there. At least not more than once. You can be on bed rest and not be bed-ridden, you can still get out of bed and move around a little. I'd kill someone who told me I couldn't do things that I was reasonably certain was safe. Her sitting in the stands? Out of the question stupid and unsafe for anyone on bedrest. But if she was driven up to a door, met by a wheelchair, and allowed to rest in the WAG suite, then it would have been perfectly safe.

I like that her doctor is open to allowing her a trial of labor. Labor is hard, yo, but without complications a natural birth can be so much easier to recover from than surgery. So many people forget that a c-section is a major surgery. It's a serious surgery with serious risks (obviously some benefits as well). It's not something that should be taken into account lightly or for frivolous reasons. Picking the date your kid is born is frivolous. Not wanting to 'mess up' your lady bits is another - hand to god, I've heard that as a reason, lest her man not be interested in her sexually because things are different, jesus christ. Frankly, if all a woman is good for is a good fuck to her 'man,' well, she's got serious problems that she's made worse by having a kid with someone who's that shallow. And, let's not forget, that most people with c-sections also have newborns to deal with. The first few weeks can be so overwhelming that it's easier if you don't have to worry about recovery from a major abdominal surgery.

I love the baby's name. I can't wait until she arrives!

I wonder what Mr. Crawford has planned for Autumn as far as sexy time is concerned. :)

Great update (as usual). Hopefully she doesn't end up with a cesarean section. Just a couple more weeks, hang in there Autumn.
