So so so good! I cannot wait for the next update!

Man, it cost so much money to restock my kitchen, pantry, and freezer after a big move. And we were able to take dry goods, it would have been even more painful if we'd had to replace all of the baking supplies, the ziplocks and tin foil type stuff, not to mention my shelves of spices. Eesh, that's hundreds easily right there if I had to buy all new all at once.

Honey, honey, honey, Wyn. Anyone who has ever fed children or an athlete would not blink at a $300 grocery bill or think gold digger. It's the designer clothes, a new closet-ful each year, the handbags, the jewelry, the attention to appearance, the exotic vacations and cars and pets, etc. etc. Don't spend so much time concerned with how you appear to others so you don't look like a gold digger that you turn into someone you didn't used to be.

And frankly, there are some WAGs that are gold diggers. There are a lot of 'trophy' wives and girlfriends to rich/powerful men no matter what field they're in. And that's ok. It really should only be a concern between husband and wife, no one else's opinion or thoughts on those marriages should matter, as long as those two parties are happy with what the other is bringing to the relationship. Some men want arm candy. Some women want men who can provide them with the funds to be arm candy. If those women are bringing something of value in their partner's eyes to the relationship, that's all that matters. If you don't want to be a gold digger, Wyn, that's fine, but you need to stop worrying about other people's opinions because you will never be able to make everyone happy. NEver. ever. No matter where on the Gold Digger to Carol Brady scale you fall, some people are going to dislike you because you dress too upscale/you dress not upscale enough, you spend too much time/money in hair/nail/etc salons or you spend not enough time and money in those places, you're not natural enough/you're too natural, because you don't work/because you work. You can't make everyone happy. The only people whose opinions should matter here are yours and Sids. Also, I can't believe your fuss over a car. A vehicle is freedom, ask any teen. Living in an upscale neighborhood and being married to an icon, you will need a vehicle or you'll be housebound. A lot of families make do with one car because they have to. You don't. Honestly, a nice car, even a $50K one, isn't going to even make a dent on his bank account, he makes more than that a week.

Don't let the money become a dividing point in your relationship because you spend too much or too little. Find a way to meet in the middle over your spending habits, both of you. Let him buy you the tools to make your life easier. Life is too short to fight over money if you have enough money that you don't need to worry about spending it. Don't take it for granted but in the end, money is just a tool that makes life easier.

And, ha, I only wish it took me a week to unpack. Ahahahahahahaha. Boxes got unpacked as we decided we couldn't live without the stuff in them. Of course, I didn't have a decorator and we had to buy new furniture and furnishings to fill the larger space, and a whole house worth of curtains and then hang them ourselves. Oy, the curtains alone... And I'd have killed my SO if he'd wanted me to entertain his co-workers the week after we moved in.

I suspect the Oksana thing comes down to jealousy. Jealousy maybe because Sid married Wyn and Geno hasn't married her, or maybe jealousy over Wyn's coming in and upsetting the power structure within the WAGs - there is a definite power structure their, depending on 'rank' of the player, if he's a main player, a bit player, or a player with a two way contract who can be sent down to the AHL any time, depending on if the WAG is a wife or fiance or long-term girlfriend vs. flavors of the month, etc etc.
