So glad you are back! The premise of this story is quite unique and you tell it with such strength and clarity. While Depression has received more and more attention as of late, I think your story shows how Depression affects not only the depressed person, but also those around them. And while your characters are fictional, the basic situations are all too real.
I loved the "session" between Jon and his therapist. The whole process was very enlightening. The comment about all of them - Jon, Pat and Lexi - not being the same is so true. They are all changed by what happened with Vicky. But the important thing is to recognize these changes and move on from there - hopefully to a better place.
Vicky has definitely moved forward - or her physician would never had encouraged her to move back to Chicago. What remains to be seen is where the rest of them have ended up.
I live this story. It deals with depression in a straight forward way and shows that it is not hopeless. With the right intervention she is able to conquer her life:)
Im so sorry. I don't think I've commented on this story or it's prequel. I read the first one within a few hours a few months ago. I loved it. I kind of relate to Vicky with the depression. I can't wait to see what happens when they see each other again. I hope she stays healthy and nothing triggers a breakdown. I wonder how Jon will react to seeing her, I feel like he's the one that's not ready. Please update soon!
Ps. Thanks for making a story that involves real issues that people face
I am really loving this story I only started the prequel a couple days ago and am happy to be all caught up, I'm glad Vicky is back I can't wait to read more update soon please :)
What a pleasant surprise to see another update so soon! I'm so happy that Vicky is doing well, but mostly I just want her and Jon to see each other. Now that she looks like her old self, I can see Jon totally remembering what made him fall in love with her.
