so happy to see this update! I love the interaction between Jon and Kaner - but the underlying emotion is how much they BOTH still care about Vicky.

It will be interesting to see how they adjust to Vicky being back - and how much has Vicky changed while she has been away.

Ok I'm obsessed with your sequel please write more whenever you can

You are such a great storyteller. The first part pulled at my heart strings, and now I'm really looking forward to seeing what happens when she's back in Chicago.

So Vicky has decided to come back to Chicago. She has to know that she will eventually see Jon - I mean, first of all, its Chicago, he is everywhere. And secondly, her best friend is dating his teammate. Their paths are going to cross.

She must feel she is emotionally stable enough to handle seeing him, because I am sure it would be something that would be addressed by her therapist while in therapy.

But I am still not sure that Jon is ready to see HER. I am wondering who - if anyone - will give him the heads up that Vicky is returning to Chicago.

AHHH I'm so excited for this! You know how much I love your writing! :D

My absolute favorite part was the last line of the first chapter. I'm just going to keep this comment short and we can talk more about it on our chat thread!
