  • There is no other person that can write a story that I love more than I love yours. This is just another to add to the list of amazing stories in your collection and I'm as excited as ever to read it!

To start off, your description is as flawless as ever. There are particular moments in your writing that I truly enjoy and feel the need to read over again just so I can say it out loud. It is your writing that inspires my creative edge, pushing me further into ways of description.

What I like most about this story is the fact that you have characters that you are writing as a different kind of fanfiction. I love that Daryl is not typically the one who found Nora. Rick is such a large character in the group and I feel that giving him a large part to play in your story is perfect. I can't express how eyeroll worthy it is when (example) 'She turns to see Daryl with a crossbow aimed at her.' Or something else that includes Daryl as the main point of focus.

I also LOVE the hatred between them. The immediate stereotype that Daryl typically falls under is absolutely well done. He is the kind of character you fall in love with over time, because he is definitely rough around the edges. I'm tired of the protag expressing how hot he is but that he is a cocky guy with a smartass smirk. Lets face it, Daryl is not easily impressed. And no amount of beauty is going to override a damsel's stupidity. Most likely he would cut her loose and run.

So I can't wait for the next update as you have most likely gathered!

    Love you!

  • Oh, my sweet Daryl! You're such a little shit.

I love the fact that you're so descriptive when you write! I can, quite literally, feel the same amount of frustration and anger that Nora is feeling. I understand her pain because I'd be as heated as she is if anything like that we're to happen to my cat. The fact that Daryl refuses to back down from her attempts at beating his ass is actually kind of hilarious to me. Especially since Rick is stuck with trying to get a grip on the situation!

Ugh... I love the flow of the story, the pace is perfect and it isn't a love at first sight kind of story! Not like most of the Daryl stories that I've managed to come across.

  • The beginning of this, oh man. I love that instead of this starting off as human-human interaction it's actually human-animal interaction just because it's so rare to see it in stories and it gives an even bigger sense of loneliness that she's experiencing.
I also really like how it starts off with an original fiction type of feel, I've only seen one or two episodes of The Walking Dead so it was nice to get a feel of the story before being thrusted into The Walking Dead scene with all the characters.
Second chapter was just as good, I'm really liking where this is going, I love how it's such an easy read and I'll definitely be subbing and reccing :) Can't wait to read more.
