So I think this story is actually pretty good, but you shouldn't be too specific and break down every word for the reader like: didn't = did not. Try not to use a lot of short sentences.

Try to also use less dialogue and more description, more emotion because you're leading the readers into more of a shaky start. But other than that, I am interested in your story! (:
