This is a great ending to such a great story. What a rollercoaster of feelings. But it was all worth it to get to this point (for everyone!) gosh, I really can't get over this ending.... I'M REALLY GLAD EVERYONE GOT A HAPPY ENDING AKA I'M GLAD JOHN GOT A BREAK.

Such a wonderful ending! This whole series was so cute (although it definitely was a rollercoaster of emotions haha) and this ending was just perfect.

That was the cutest chapter ever. I love mushy, in love John. And I love that Eric and Jenna got married. I second what chelsea13 said, except I want to add on to it...it should be in the future, John should propose, and Jenna should be pregnant or she and Eric already have a child. Boom. Perfect.

Not really, but I'm THAT passionate about their relationship. Haha. For real though, theyre so sweet and I'm so sad to see this story end :( its been one of my favorites that I've ever read so thanks for that. :) also, I just love seeing John so smitten. It's seriously adorable and giving me way too many feels.

I was reading this while listening to "All Of The Stars" by Ed Sheeran (randomly) but that wasn't a good life choice to make.

But John O'Callaghan, you are a good man. I like this whole, "eating chicken, not being a chicken" thing you've got going on by being such a good emotional pillar for Charlee. And same to Charlee for letting him in during a time when most people would just push everyone away and want to be alone.

Everyone deserves a pat on the back instead a slap on the head. It's insane to think that there's only 2 chapters left... can they just go on forever and ever (sequel?!)?

Thank you for writing such wonderful stories, it's always such a joy to read them.

Awwww no! Not her sister :( I'm bummed she passed, but at the same time, this wasn't really a sad chapter, thank you for that. It really shows the brighter side of things; that Charlee has been able to find John throughout this whole mess and that was a good thing because he's basically her person (quoting grey's anatomy here.) I think it's wonderful of him to stick by her no matter what :3

Oh my gosh, so for a moment I though that this was the last chapter and i was abkut to get super emotional as I'm not ready for this story to be over. But I'm glad ive still got at least a week on this story.

So yay, John is the amazing emotional support for Charlee and I'm so glad shes letting him be that instead of pushing him away. Despite the shit thay happened, I totally agree with @everdeen (high five for late commenters club!) in that none of the good both John or Charlee are experiencing now would have happened if they both, especially John, suffered first. Like literally everything she said in her last comment is spot on to how i feel about what's been going on, so props @everdeen for being awesome and ohilosophical and stuff. Haha.

Haha I did see the picture! Super jealous! Haha. I'm seeing them in July! It's going to be hard for my first words to not be, "dude cut your hair!" But I'm going to try not to...ha. However they are amazing live. I've seen them more than I can count and I never get tired of them!

And yes, sounded very much like a philosopher but that's not a bad thing, it got me thinking. Haha.

I read this a long time ago and realize now that I haven't commented yet (high five @chelsea13). Of course I want Carrie to live, but... Cancer is tough, I could quote a thousand of lines from "The fault in our stars" right now. Only the good die young, right? (which sucks too) I prefer to be optimistic and believe that a) Carrie's mission on Earth is complete, that's why she has to go b) it's just a battle that will make her stronger.
Talking about destiny... "God writes straight with crooked lines" right? Sometimes we complain that "why it didn't happen blablabla" then later we see that it wasn't suppose to happen because the timing was wrong/better things were waiting for us. Like, it was horrible that Halvo/Jenna/John situation happened and they got hurt (especially O'Callaghan), but imagine if it had never happened? He would never reveal his feelings for Jenna and then overcome them, he would never been dragged to a bar and meet Charlee. As for her, she would be a mess without the support and love of John, if she hadn't the chance of fixing him, she wouldn't be fixed either. Isn't life full of surprises?! Jeez... I felt like a philosopher writing this, I hope you have understood.

PS: Last The Maine's gig in Brazil tonight, they will leave me with a broken heart. Have you seen my picture with John? I want to cry everytime I think about how it was meeting them and screaming their songs with all my heart. I can't stop talking about that, sorry.

Ok, so I read this as soon as you updated and realized I didn't comment!! Tsk, tsk. Anyway wow. Could ya yank on my heart strings just a little bit more because I'm pretty sure you haven't completely yanked them in half yet. My god. these two...good guy John...so glad they're not walking on shells with each other anymore. Pretty sure I was a puddle on the floor as I read this chapter...not just because of the cuteness known as Charlee and John, but because of whats going on with Carrie. I really hope she pulls through, but if for whatever reason she doesn't, I know John will be there for her. I just hope Charlee let's him and doesn't push him away. Regardless these two are adorable and I love them. The end.

So, the feels I am getting for this story only escalate... John says I love you and I am so happy they'll be going through this together (nobody better push anyone away or you know, take the easy way out). I hope Carrie makes it through but if not, you know she'll be the reason those two will be stronger than ever (together). I really loved everyone's interactions with one another, so heartwarming.

I am always patiently awaiting your updates.

Ok. So I had read the most recent update pretty much as soon as you posted, however I didn't get a chance to comment on it until now. (sorry!!) With that being said, I decided to re-read this lovely story and remind myself just why this story gives me so many feels. (bad idea as I have a presentation to work on...but I enjoy this so much more!!!)

Alright so basically, congrats to you John for finally growing a pair and asking her to be your girlfriend. It's about time!! Seriously though, re-reading this I was reminded of all the original frustrations I had with the both of them and their stubbornness. It really is hilarious how much alike they can be....which is what makes them so great together. (besides the whole 'getting each other' thing. Apparently thats important?? Haha) anyway, yes. So happy that finally happened, though knowing them, something's gonna happen and I feel their happiness will be short-lived. Not that I want it to be, but it always seems to happen...which leads me to Carrie...I fear this could potentially be a breaking point for John and Charlee...especially if its as bad as you're letting on...I feel of something really bad happened to her, that Charlee will now become the closed off one and not want to be around John...gosh I don't know. You, WhiskeyPrincess118, and recycledsweaters write wonderful stories that make me feel things...I have way to many emotions now pertaining to this story and now must immerse myself in homework. Ahhhhh. Please update this soon because Im dying to know what's going to happen with these two.
