I felt like Matt was kind of being a dick for ignoring her.

I can't believe how much of a douche Matt's dad is. It makes me so angry. And Matt has every right to want time to himself but he should have called or texted Sadie first and explained some stuff. I hate that Sadie is having such a hard time with her mom, and it really sucks that her mom doesn't like Matt, since he's the only one who seems able to help Sadie. I think her mom just doesn't like him because she's just a contradictory woman. And a bitch.

I can't even believe Matt got arrested. Fuck that shit, and fuck his dad! He still should have called Sadie and let her know what was going on and that he was okay.

Sadie had a lot of courage talking to Matt's dad like that
I think Matt yelled at Sadie not because he was angry but because he was trully scared of what his father could have done to her
Really hope Matt is wrong about getting his ass beat when he goes home however it's unlikely he is
Getting the feeling that Matt's dad is going to do a complete turn around after Sadie's speaking up like that and he is going to admire her in all the wrong ways
He may even go as far as threatening her and telling Matt he can show him how to be a "real man"

I think they were both wrong here. It wasn't in Sadie's--or Matt's--best interest for Sadie to snap at his dad, but I don't believe Matt should have yelled at her for it. That conversation was best left for when they'd both calmed down a bit, when the stress and anger and nervousness wasn't so fresh. Matt's father is such a dick, though, so...in a way, I really enjoyed Sadie talking back to him. Lol. My guess is that Sadie's mom is gonna assume she and Matt are sleeping together and very possibly try to ban Sadie from seeing him. Because that will work. *cough*

Ack, this chapter made me so nervous! I even felt my face grow warm once Matt snapped at Sadie. Dang... and I was somewhat correct. This was kind of bad, but I'll wait to see if things between the two of them get better or worse. She doesn't seem entirely mad at Matt, but she's just upset at the situation and not having a good day. UGH! I hope Matt's asshat of a father doesn't totally annihilate him. Also, what the hell is Sadie's mother's problem?! This is exciting!

Holy shit I was so scared for Sadie! I'm glad that Sadie stood up for Matt, but then again I'm kinda mad because now Matt has to pay for it. So in a way, Matt had a right to blow up at her. I am so in love with this story. I am often skeptical of high school based fan fiction but this is good. For some reason I am reminded of that nineties movie called Disturbing Behavior where all the assholes are strange programmed robot freaks. But anyway I'm super nervous about the dad. And I'm truly curious about what happened to and concerned for Sadie's mom. And Sadie is a bamf. One more thing, I'm also anticipating something bad happening between her and Matt. I can feel it!

I agree with @ rachthebat. The principal is a total dick. He had no right to bring up any of that stuff on Matt to another student, even if he knew they were friends. It was accurate, though...there were always those people in high school that the teachers, principal, etc., let get away with anything. And Tyler would be one of those, as a football player. I guess Emily is, too.

Matt has been honest with Sadie every step of the way and she hasn't run yet. He needs to accept that she's in it for the long haul now.

Uh-oh! I'm sure Matt's dad is gonna do something asshole-y. I just hope that Sadie doesn't try to get involved and end up hurt.
