Would it be too much to hope for Franz and/or Gregori to do their weird awesome vampire science to give Angie a leg like how Kieran got Dimitri's eye??

Well, I mean, YEAH Gabriel regenerated his limbs after they were burnt off, but that's because Ciel and Anais fed him gallons of amniotic fluid over a period of weeks. I'm not sure the same would work for Angie...

T^T If Ciel and Anais can rebuild Gabriel from dirt, surely they can fix her leg. Calypso should be able to help Angie locate Gabriel. :D

Funny story about that: Nope! Another fan brought that poem to my attention because she had to read it at school and she was like: "Wait a minute..." She then asked me and I told her I had no idea what she was talking about, so she linked me the poem. I read it and my face was like "Wut?"
In actuality Evangeline and Gabriel's names are my own inside joke. I named Angie after Evangeline McDowell, a vampire in the Negima! manga. Gabriel is named after Gabriel Van Helsing, the hunter in Dracula. *evil laughter*
My books are sprinkled with all kinds of references. Arthur is named after King Arthur. Kieran's name means 'Dark one'.
Some references are more mundane. Chris is named after my best friend, so...
Sometimes references are also really subtle... In book 2 there are two stained glass windows depicting angels in the cafeteria. One holds a blade and the other is knelt in prayer.
I won't list every one, because I think finding them is it's own reward. There are others out there, and some of them point to plot points that haven't happened yet. *devious smile*

Evangeline is also an angelic name, with the word angel in it.

Also, are Gabriel & Angie named in reference to the poem by Henry Wadsworth Longfellow "Evangeline"?

I'm unreasonably proud of that line. ^_^ It's the most non-Gabriel/Gabriel line ever.

Maybe there is one teensy reference in regard to the names, but it's not like there are any OTHER angel references anywhere else, like in any of the other books... >_>

Project Vampire definitely delves in the science side of vampire biology, between the Smythe brothers and their research, Mechanex with their own research, and Professor Barnes studying Nora and her abilities.

I consider this series to be more sci-fi than fantasy...

Yes, angel references. Gabriel is the messenger to God and Azrael is the angel of death ;]

Best line I'm assuming is kicking Manigault's ass so hard Gabriel knocks out his fangs? :P

I liked the new chapter, especially the lesson on vampirism concerning biology!
