I like Rhaegar. Don't do this to me. I have all sorts of ideas going through my head, especially with her being betrothed to Viserys. I don't think he'll consent (due to what I am thinking).

Oooh, Cersei's getting defensive. Not like that's entirely out of ordinary for her, considering her Lannister traits. I wonder how Oberyn has gotten on with speaking with Elia.

I sense trouble ahead (perhaps?).

I, for one, am so glad that Oberyn suggested that. I mean, changing who marries who shouldn't be too hard because it still accomplishes the same thing. Although I have this small inkling that Viserys might find out...

Who's excited that they finally kissed? I for one certainly am!! FINALLY it happened.

But because I am so negative and pessimistic and a dash bit paranoid I am almost scared of what might come. Viserys is a nasty fellow in the shows, and he probably won't be so happy that Tabitha chose Oberyn over him. But if the whole wife-swap switcheroo works out...I can't think of a better-complementing pair than Viserys and Cersei. Only because Cersei won't take his shit for a minute.

AH. can't wait to read more!!

I love how she is completely honest with what she's feeling and how she feels about both Viserys and Oberyn. I really just want her to get her happy ending, but I am doubting that she can get it without a heavy price...

I love how you write this like it could easily be a script aswell, you have an amazing talent for doing that. I just hear them saying it.

"The man thinks he is a dragon", I just loved that line 100%. Tabitha is starting to come out of her shell, and I think she's gonna be fighting fire with fire soon. I feel like Viserys will get a cold blast of reality when he tries to tame this one ;)

Hello again!! So I may have just spent the last half hour, starting and reading this piece...and now I can say that I am completely caught up. I am now subscribed to this piece and you have my recommendation.

Again, your layout is so lovely. I guess I have a soft spot for simplistic layout design. It's simple but so well thought-out; the color schemes, the design, the beautiful picture of Oberyn. Amazing!

As for the story, I am absolutely hooked. You have me convinced that you know Oberyn Martell's character down to the very last fiber of his being. The charisma and charm he displayed is so very true to the original character. I just love how he's that bluntly straightforward, says what he wants to say when he wants to say; it's right out of the shows!
This AU is very interesting; the way I saw it was sort of like another possibility in the whole time line of the story (outside of aging the Targaryens). I always thought it was a shame that readers/viewers never actually met Rhaegar Targaryen...he was supposedly beautiful. This AU really gets me thinking...what if?? That small change of who won the rebellion would have a huge ripple effect on Westeros as a whole. My mind. BLOWN.
And oh my...the immediate chemistry between Tabitha and Oberyn... And then there's Cersei. Gosh, I already disliked that Lannister quite a bit but this makes me dislike her even more.
But really; I'm really loving this story so far!

One thing I picked out---totally tiny-minuscule thing: In the chapter titled 'The Day She Arrived', at the very end of the second paragraph, you spelled Dornishmen as Donishmen. Just a small thing, and the only thing I caught.

The more chapters there are, the more it seems that Cersei and Viserys would make a damn fine match for each other. Maybe they'll be doing each other behind Oberyn and Tabitha's backs and have it solved that way.

But the title of this chapter had me so gutter-minded. Way to insinuate, Nicole.

I like how every sentence Oberyn says seems to have the possibility of a double meaning, and it panics her. It's such a great writing style, it's not seen often but so well executed <3

Ugh, I want to throw something at Cersei, Just when they start making real great progress in the relationship, she shows up with her face...Ugh! As much as I love her, she's pissing me off already and she's only been here for like, five seconds. Haha.

I hope Tabitha does something to Cersei. I feel a major catfight coming on over the sexy Oberyn! Go Tabitha!

Please update soon, I want to see what mischief Cersei gets up to, and how Tabitha will deal with it!

For a moment, I totally expected Oberyn to offer to poison Viserys for her. Then I realised that this would end pretty quickly after that so was grateful that he didn't (not that I'd imagine a Stark would say yes).

Cersei is now on the scene and I cannot wait to see the conflict between her and Tabitha because obviously it's going to happen because Lannister and Stark. And also Cersei is with the wrong guy.

I mean, thinking about it, Cersei and Viserys would probably make a good match.

I just noticed how you always start off a chapter with 'The Day', love that!

I love that she seems to be sinking more and more into a feeling of hopelessness, but that's good, because that means eventually, she'll strike back. She feels every bit like a ward in this chapter, trapped and unwilling, but it's nice to see Dany calling her brother out on his bullshit, hahaha.

I think her small displays of distaste are excellent, the fork clenching and rigid jaw, although once Viserys takes notice of her actions, things could be a little more difficult for her.

I actually kinda like that Oberyn took a backseat this chapter, it seems like he's waiting for her to come to him almost, or he just wants to see whether or not she'll do her duty.

I'm interested in what comes next, since she's falling further into depression about being forced into this situation, so her next moves will be very interesting indeed.

This is one of my favourite stories of yours, Nicole. That's not just because of Oberyn either.

The concept makes so much sense for Westeros with the whole ward/marriage of enemies post-war. I was gutted when I found out Tabitha was to marry Viserys though! I'm sure Oberyn will get his way though

I'm interested to see more of Tabitha's personality come out - at the moment she seems like an innocent, shy young lady. But early days and all that
