Wow this was ridiculously cute. It made my heart all warm and fuzzy. I really liked the plot of Marlene not entirely being in love. As terrible as it seems, I totally sympathize with that emotion. Really, when you love another person while in a relationship, it leads to that kind of feeling. That the person you're with is inadequate to suit your needs. And then somehow, there's this indescribable space between you and the other person. I don't know if that is delving into a deeper meaning than you'd meant for. Either way, I really like the voice behind this. It's got that dark feeling, but then kept a silver lining to it. You did quite an amazing job with this story. Keep up your great work!

Sorry the New Year giveaway took so long, but here I am anyway.
This one shot was really cute, not to mention, it didn't feel femme-slash at all haha. It was a light hearted read and I liked that. Also, I like your writing style, its so simple and easy to read. Seems like incidents take place right before your eyes. Plus, I totally loved the name Marlene, it sounds so…sweet LOL.
I’m wondering though, did the other girl have feelings for Marlene since before too? Or did she just realize it after their conversation in the shop? Anyway, it was a nice read! And your layout is gorgeous <3 (:
