@ bostongirl33 You are adorable!! I'm sorry I haven't posted an update - last week was exhausting and my work has been madness lately. No time to write during the day! ;) I'm off tomorrow and have alllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll day to write, to update y'all on Jami and Veronica. Stay tuned!
Veronica seems to be coming to terms with the fact that Jeremy is gone and that she has to find a way to move on, almost an awakening of sorts. She has to navigate the guilt she may be feeling over "surviving" and allowing herself to find happiness again - those familiar feelings from a new source. Maybe that is why the new "nickname" of Ronnie is important. It is something uniquely Jamie.
I also think accepting Tyler's help with getting her legal advice on the house sale is another step in resolving past issues. Veronica has to confront Jeremy's parents and let them know that she loved their son deeply and none of this was the way she wanted things to work out. She wanted a forever with Jeremy....in that house, but fate had another plan. She has to make them understand that Jeremy loved her and the last thing that he would want would be for them to cause Veronica any more pain.
But this will all take time - baby steps. Veronica has to first reconcile her feelings for Jeremy and his family before she will be able to allow herself to feel anything real with Jamie.
OMG!!! So much happening in one chapter!!! The memory of her from Jamie's point of view was so sweet. The memories of the nightmare from her viewpoint were painful. The flowers were so sweet and I applaud her bravery for going to his house to say thank you!! Loved it!!
You're back, hooray!! So glad they kissed. I have no doubt that there will continue to be a slow burn, but this is a step in the right direction! As always, you've written great best friends for the main characters as well. So glad I have new Linzerella chapters to look forward to :)
Really missed this and missed your writing! So glad you updated and that I got to read 2 chapters. I still love how music plays such a big role in your writing because I end up listening to it and just think about the characters.
