Nobody can stay strong forever. We all have our little ticks that set us off. She had her five hours to herself and obviously wasn't ready for any closeness from him when she was still in shock, tired, and confused. After so much loss in her life already, it'd be hard to think of someone you're so in love with has had this little secret.

Apologies if you don't agree with my plot. I urge you to take a crack at your own though, it's not possible to appease everyone. I write this for fun, for people to enjoy. I appreciate criticism, but not being told that what I wrote isn't up to a standard that isn't even set.

That was so intense!!! Live is a relatively new thing for Vera and Tyler both. He did handle the girl showing up badly!!! With Tyler's previous rep as a man whore, I think Vera acted like I thought she would. Unsure, passed off and needed space!! Great chapter!!

Jenny did lie (in my opinion). Vera throughout this story has been portrayed as being strong willed and doesn't take nothing from no one. I never said anything was wrong with reacting, my issue was with her overracting. If some girl did that and you could see that your boyfriend wasn't having a positive reaction and seemed confused why fly off the handle? That is when you let her (the other woman) know who you are, don't allow her to have the upper hand in this situation because now you just downgraded yourself from girlfriend to employee and that is a big insult to youself. Just as you said you would have reacted a certain way and I will let you know how I would have. No woman that hasn't been discussed or mentioned is ever going to know that I am rattled by her and force me to leave a house that I was/am welcomed in. Vera could have politely corrected that girl and then had a conversation with Tyler and let him know what her problem with the girl was and let Tyler explain. How was Tyler's apology empty? This whole story it has been shown that they're all in with each other and have gotten very serious in that year or so they had been together. Yes, Tyler should have told the girl about him moving on but even he said he didn't expect her to come back and he never called her girlfriend. Vera honestly doesn't need to know about her because she was an on and off four month "relationship" (I would be inclined to sat that they were talking and not exclusive). I don't know about you but if I can't be steady with someone for four months then it obviously wasn't that serious between the two and if she felt that way she is obviously reading more into then she needed to and no guy that I know that truly likes you would not let you know where he stands. If you are in a serious relationship you and that other person need to know where you stand. To have Vera freak out like Tyler had been cheating or caught in some incriminating act is a bit much for me. Overracting is disappearing for five plus hours with no contact with anyone because you allowed yourself to be shook and not use judgement. It would have been fine had she told Tyler that she was upset at Tyler not ending it "officially" and she just needed some time to think and process the information.

Jenny didn't lie. If I was in that situation I'd be pissed too. Vera may have yelled and pushed him, but the main point was more so Vera is independent and knows what she wants. She won't put up with empty apologies and foolishness.

Why did Jenny lie to Vera about not overreacting, reacting is an acceptable response, Vera went from 0 to 100 real quick lol. Well atleast she realized that it will be better to squash the issue now before it becomes a bigger issue later.
