interesting points! thank you for your feedback! i'm still so interested in why people are pitting jack and max against each other, though. obviously i get it because i'd be doing the same thing as a reader, but it's funny to think about. from alex's point of view, which is the majority of the story, he only compares them in a positive sort of way, and still shows favour toward jack. the only negative light being shed on max is from jack's point of view. no idea why i'm so confused by this when its my own story, but it's funny to think about.

jalex purism is ME !!!! i get you. thanks for the feedback, i think i'm definitely going to try to develop the other characters more. as for alex in lingerie, maybe in the future. i think he's definitely got that in him, but he's still a huge baby rn to me tbh

I don't know, honestly, I'm a Jalex purist, and after the who shabang with Sam, I feel as though I can't trust Max. Like, he could end up becoming super great friends with them, but I'll still have mistrust because Jalex babies and whatnot. Maybe he'll add some great drama/plot twists in the story, though. He's just a complex character to me. And definitely, build up them relationships. With Natasha, too! I love when stories give focus to side characters, because it builds up the universe the live in, ya know? Makes it seem like less of a small window and more open, ya know what I mean? Also, please say the birthday gift is something sexual because if Alex appears in lingerie for Jack I might just die.

Well, if it were up to me, I would have shipped Max off long ago so making him a long term friend is absolutely against everything I stand for. I don't know if Max has any "serious" intentions with Alex, it seems more like a puppy love kind of thing to me, although I'm sure he wouldn't mind getting laid. As for Alex, as you already pointed out, I think he knows but doesn't like seeing Max that way so he chooses to ignore the advances coming from the other boy. He seems like he's into him just a tiny bit or maybe into someone besides Jack trying to win him over, I can't really put a finger on that yet. I think more Marissa and Zack would be cute, as would be Rian and Cass. I would love for Max and Jack to actually really confront each other and have this huge fallout about who's better for Alex and why to the point where both end up giving each other nasty glares from afar and such, that would be fun! As always, I'm super excited that you updated, you definitely made my day!
