im very picky of fan fics like this, but you're such a talented writer, im in awe of the summary. it's full of emotion & the young innocence one would naturally find @ hogwarts (or in this case exactly what i've read from the many books & watched in the various movies)

i am always very intrigued by first p.o.v commentary bc it's amazing & i wish i could execute it as greatly as you have. posey is definitely a favorite & i love just the tone you set to this story starting from the first chapter. it's breathtaking & it feels like im reading this as a book which has topped the seller's @ barnes & nobles or something.

this is your first hp fic? goddamn, that's pretty impressive to say the least. you have a wonderful setting created for all us hp lovers so i can't wait to see what else is in store for this beautiful gem

Please tell me you are going to continue this, yes?? I am in love with this story after only 3 chapters.

Summary & Layout:
Okay so I do want to start by saying I absolutely adore the layout and banner. Any use of pastelly(??) colors make me extremely happy. Your summary is really cute. I'm just imagining McGonagall's face with something like this actually happening.

Chapter 1:
I was totally confused for like 5 seconds because I thought this would be a Marauders story but it's so interesting to read a next generation story. I've never read one before so here we go..
LOVE that Professor Trelawney is still as quirky as she is in the original novels. I also think it's hilarious that James has the same opinion of the professor that Harry did.

After reading the first chapter, I do have to say I LOVE this story. Even though it's a HP FF, it shows so much teen angst and hilarity that I feel like I want to be at Hogwarts (more than usual). Okay, on to chapter two.

Chapter Two:
"...and Miles likes to joke that he heard Noah is married to a dragon. I like to punch Miles." I actually snorted because this is something I would say to one of my friends. OMG. hahaha, I'm laughing so hard at the 'no one could resist James Potter' part. Wow, this is written so well, I'm a little obsessed so far.

Just finished chapter two and this story is actually making me laugh out loud. I'm deff subscribing because it's written so well and it's honestly incredible. Keep up the amazing work!

First of all, I've never really delved into the realm of second generation Potter, although I have to say, this really got me hooked. The storyline is active and engaging. There are a few common grammar errors but overall good and not detracting.

The character of James II is so similar to how James I is often portrayed and I really enjoyed reading about him. The characters, although few so far, are well-developed and exciting. I really love this story so far; it's witty and funny and I really enjoy the plot and the writing style.

I'd really like to see more of this! Wonderful job!

Oh my gosh, may I say that I am absolutely in love with this? Because this is absolutely amazing.

Firstly, The summary is amazing. I was hooked right away. I have never read anything with next generation Potter so I was certainly really excited to start reading this. I also love that you are using Dylan O'Brien for James because wow that guy is great to look at. He fits James so perfectly.

James Sirius Potter, how do I describe him? I adore that he is famous for just being Harry's son and it seems to have maybe gotten to his head. How he seems to be more like his namesake instead of Harry is brilliant. He's like a little mini James strutting about. Though it definitely seems like he's Harry in the way that he truly does not want to be well known. I guess the Potters are just destined to be famous at Hogwarts.

And then with Posey, she is such a character you can relate to, I fell in love with her right away. She has the right amount of sass and normality to make her perfect. It makes me laugh that she seems to have this underlying, sort of unrecognized obsession with James of her own. She certainly dwells on the rumors about girls. But isn't that how it always is when there is a crush blooming? It's totally blooming, am I right? Please let me be right.

These two have such great chemistry that seems seems both awkward and comfortable at the same time. It's clear that they have definitely grown up around each other at school though they were never close. Even the supporting characters like Miles and Cecily. Her love for James and the casual stalking has me cracking up.

This story just flows so wonderfully and I was immediately sucked in. Every word of it was amazing. I'm pretty sure my favorite part was definitely James and Posey in that deserted classroom. Well, any time they interacted happens to be my favorite part. I want to smash their faces together. Their budding relationship is hilarious, wonderful, and so realistic. They balance each other out perfectly. I absolutely adore it.

I can't wait to read what happens next.

I love how she describes James in the beginning. I kinda love the way she thinks, as well. And the like the way you introduced Cecily was realistic~ it was very clean. Cece is a very (for me) relatable character. The obsession with someone famous is always hilarious to read about and I love how much Cecily deals with it!

I do love how charming James perceives to be He says a simple hello and gets the entire women population in the palms of his hands. I really do enjoy his character. Posey’s character is such a joy, and her mindset is written so nicely, the realisticity of her thoughts flow very clearly to the readers. You've gotten into her head perfectly!

I think Cecily was more excited for Posey being paired with Potter than Posey actually was

I really appreciate how steady this is! It isn't choppy~ a beginning, middle and end was easily spotted. I do have to say how much I really like Cecily’s character. The way you've written about her energy is refreshing to read about. Her support towards Posey and her quirkiness is fun to read about.

I think you've written Posey and James’s interactions together almost too perfectly. Every story I've read of yours seems to always be as fantastic as the next! Like said before, you write your character’s thoughts almost as if you were in their place in the story. The descriptions aren't too heavy, so read the chapters smoothly and quickly. I wanted to give you some con crit, but you've done this story so perfectly. Although I was not fully familiar with the terminology, I did follow your plot very easily.

This story made my heart flutter. I love Posey and James! I think they're amazing characters and the entire story is super well developed. Cecily reminds me of a friend I used to have, and being able to relate to these characters so much really made it that much better. I really want to see what happens next, and the fact that it's a story that is so relatable and awesome has me on the edge of my seat for an update! I'm subbing :)

I love that James is like, the complete opposite of Harry and is pretty much that way because of the fame from everyone knowing Harry. I'm hoping Posey can knock some sense into him though, because I think they'd be such a cute couple And oh man, I relate to Posey and her entire personality so much it's ridiculous.

Chapter One
I love the fact that James is famous and it seems to have stemmed from Harry. Honestly I think it's really nice to see that Harry isn't just nothing and that people are still talking about him all those years later.

James really does seem to be quite the player and I'm sure he'd probably enjoy going after Posey simply because of the fact that he hasn't had her yet. I'm really wondering what the end game will be though.

I definitely want to see more of this and I'll be continuing once I post this comment. I love your writing style and really want to see where you're going with this.

Oh wow I love this story! Its very catchy and it's very well written. It flows, it has good sentence structure and I absolutely love it! I love the growing relationship between James and Posey and how they seem to click with each other. I can only imagine Cecily's reaction to Posey's telling of what happenedo in the deserted classroom please update soon!

You said in the summary thread that you were iffy about whether or not anyone would want to read it because of the summary and to that I just say WHY?!

The summary is so good! I have always wondered, as a Harry Potter fan, would would it be like for his children, especially James, to be in Hogwarts. How many students would worship him because of who his father is? How much privilege would he be given by the teachers? How many people would hate him out of jealousy and spite because his father is the infamous Harry Potter? Your summary makes all of those questions surface in my mind, especially because of the last line in the first paragraph: "It was at that moment that I realized what it was like to be James Potter."

That line alone draws curiosity for the reader! It makes them go "Wow how did she write James' experience at Hogwarts and what happens while he is there?!" I love when stories branch off of something open-ended like this and I think your summary does a perfect job of making people want to read your take on it all.

The same can also be said for your character, Posey. Who is she and what is her background? Especially with the line "But really, I wasn't one to talk." That makes readers think "WHY NOT WHO ARE YOU?!"

Sorry for rambling...either way your summary is great and I think it gives the perfect amount away without giving out any major spoilers of what is to come.

Chapter Two: I really like how he's good at divination, but she doesn't tell him. I wonder if he knows about this or actually thinks he's terrible at it! I'm also really enjoying the kitchen bit. Using the word "loon/loony" makes my heart melt for some reason. Queen's English and phrases/words just honestly sound so much more magical than the typical American English counterparts. Your "he" in they thought the looked has an extra "t" and in praying to merlin, Merlin should be written capitalized.

Fred Weasley, rest in peace :'( But to answer your A/N: I really like how their friendship is developing! From chapter one I would figure they would be pretty much strangers, but this chapter makes it seem like they actually do chat enough to be comfortable with one another.

Chapter Three: I really love the whole moment where she actually says his name. It seems so intimate. But then she kinda ruined it with the whole calling him out thing. But then he totally just won at everything with that snogging comment. And he gives the best advice: "Just try, for once, doing something without having to know all the little details behind it.” Definitely my favorite line. But geez, I seriously love how she threw his sass right back at him.

Can't wait for an update!!

Chapter One:

The first time I met James Potter was in first year. Everyone was so starstruck by the first born son of the-boy-who-lived that they didn’t even realize he was wearing his robes backwards.

You start off the chapter great, in my opinion. It also sets a nice pace for introductions! Posey's way of thinking and the way you write her catches my complete attention. I like how you brought numbers and percentages into it because it felt to me like she was really trying to figure James out logically. Also, I love the way you described Cecily. You can already get a feel for her character even though we haven't met her yet. Plus saying that she "got off on a technicality" is really great wording.

You can already feel the chemistry between all of your characters as they talk with one another! And of course Posey is paired with James. Never saw that one coming. AND OH MY GOD, THINKING ABOUT HIM SAYING "RUBBISH" MADE ME LEGIT SQUEAL. What a bastard! Haha, I can't believe he did that to her palm! "No, just guessing!" Fucking A I can't even right now with James.

Cecily is just the best supporting character ever. Like... Jeez, I want one! I loved when she was like, "I could just die!" She's seriously too funny, and I'm glad she's friends with Posey!

This is a wonderful NextGen I love it way more than I thought I would. I also like the fact that most people write the strong male lead off as a pretty face. I like that people ignore the bad things he does because He's Harry Potters son. So he does what ever he wants and I'm sure Posey is going to call him on it.
