I have actually toyed around with the idea of Mara encountering Jack during the Season 3 timeline, but it wouldn't be consistent with her old self, especially since she has the capability to kill him, so she would have tracked him down and get her revenge as soon as the opportunity presented itself.

So sorry for the late reply, these past couple of months have been quite hectic

So far, there's no chapter that details Mara's revenge, mainly because in the flashbacks, she's still somewhat learning the ropes and evolving into the cold, calculated killer we all know and love, but when she does get her revenge on Jack, you can bet that it will make the previous torture chapters look like child's play

I forgot if there was a detailed chapter on Mara's revenge on her ex and one on what happened to him after the outbreak.

When I first started writing this fic, I wanted to create a character who could have a love/hate relationship with Daryl because I thought it would be interesting

I really like this so far! Mara's very unique to all of the other love interests I've seen with Daryl, and I really like that.
I can't wait to read more!

you can rest assured that Mara will remain a hardened badass but yes, having her develop a heart is a key part in her character development.
i really enjoyed writing the lake scene hahaha it'll be really important as she develops her relationship with Daryl, and honestly, how can anyone not drool over those arms???
