I think that her having a heart is good, just as long as she doesn't turn into a sobbing little mess all the time
think she needs a little humanity as for not be too stone cold all the time
and her totally staring and all but drooling over Daryl's arms.. hell.. who can blame her for that??
hahahah, I was just about to write poor Daryl, when he saw her naked, but seriously though, I don't think that's nothing to feel sorry for him about- other than the fact that he seemed a little awkward he's so damn cute!

ooh, and the thought she had that Daryl doesn't understand what she and Carol had been through.. I wonder how she'll react when/if she finds out just what he's been through as a kid..

don't worry, Mara will be a badass until the bitter end (whenever that may be), and she and Daryl will definitely be butting heads very soon

as for Dante... let's just say you'll be seeing more of him in the flashbacks

The way she looked at him was much like the way a cat would look at a mouse. aawe poor confused Daryl.. he's so adorable!

ooh Dante, someone from her mexico past.. love that she's so badass! so far the Daryl stories i've read, the girls- some of them- start off a little on the tough side but then for some reason they end up more like Maggie and Andrea in their ways.. this is different and I hope she'll keep a lot of her badass'ness ( ) as the story continues, esp. her teasing Daryl, that's so much fun to read!

i just wanted to explore the idea of a love/hate relationship with Daryl because i thought it would be funny/interesting. i'm still working on chapter 7 at the moment, though i'll try to post it some time this week.

ah man, I pouted when I noticed that there wasn't a chapter beyond 6..
curious about her past- and I love that you have some of it in the beginning of the chapters- and love that she's decided to get under Daryls skin
can't wait for chapter 7
