Ok so even though Charlotte and Brendon didn't end up together, I think it was quite realistic and still an amazing ending. Charlotte and Sebastian are definitely right for each other. Makes me wonder what would have happened if Brendon realized earlier he was in love with her. Anyways, amazing story, I loved it!

Incredible ending! it's so great and unlike any other! i loved it!
it was crazy (in a good way of course) how the roles have sort of been reversed and now brendon is going through the whole unrequited(sp?) love thing
but good for charlotte being all happy now... =]

I love and hate this ending at the same time.

I love it because now Brendon is getting a taste of his own medicine. I love ends that are bittersweet, and I love it even better when endings aren't completely resolved. So much could go on after this ending. It's fun letting people's minds wander.

I hate it for many of the same reasons. :XD

I think it was a great way to end it, though, it was a neat little twist, how the tables completely turned. It's like a circle story… If that makes sense.

I am happy that Charlotte got her happy ending (finally).

yeah, no, despite how it sounds i am happy with the ending. it made me frown and shake my fist at the computer screen, but all the same it was an appropriate ending for this story.
if you ever would think about doing a one-shot for this to show how they are, i ask you not to. i personally think that would take away from the story/original ending. though the other characters didn't have a proper goodbye, as you stated, it was all about charlie and brendon in the first place.
after thinking about it, i agree with charlie for not letting brendon's dumbass ways infulence her. i mean, seriously, he realizes he's in love with her NOW?! IDIOT.
seb, congrats. brendon, it's payback time. now you get to feel the heartache of wanting something you can never have. ha, take that!

Wow. So that’s it. That’s the end. Hopefully a bit sooner than you expected. It was my birthday yesterday, so this can be my present to you guys

I’m sorry if you guys didn’t like it. I know that the characters have all gotten mixed receptions, and some of you were cheering for Seb and some of you weren’t. But this is the way it was always going to end. I considered writing an alternate ending, but that would have compromised the story in my eyes. These characters were written to turn out this way. I also regret being unable to say farewell properly to all the other characters, but in the end it was all about Charlie and Brendon.

No sequel. Perhaps at some point in the distant future if I feel the need to write a sequential oneshot or spin-off, you guys will be the first to know. The most likely at this point is perhaps an original oneshot about Chase… Thoughts?

I know that some people were concerned that the split within Panic! At the Disco would bring this story to a hiatus. That was never even a thought. This story happens in the magical world of fanfiction, and the magical world of fanfiction won’t stop for anything.
