i loved this chapter!! i hope jack finally does something about the current situation with alex, i can tell it's all building up, but at the same time i'm worried for finding out how their initial breakup happened because i can tell it's getting near that point in the flashbacks. thank you for being one of the only active fic writers, i look forward to updates every week and the content is so consistently good i'm never disappointed!

That was great! It's just really well-written because if I were Jack, I'd definitely be feeling the guilt in exactly the same way. I don't think he's gonna be able to clear his conscience by forcing Dave to move in faster though. That sounds worse omg.

I had a feeling Alex was going to start slacking at school too, in the flashbacks, and now I'm worried. But it's okay cos in the present tense, I'm just feeling sorry for him.

Fourteen: accomplished! I loved that chapter. I feel so bad for Dave though. I feel a little bad for Jack, cos sure, mistakes happen... but jeez, drinking wine late at night with your ex-boyfriend who you definitely still love is a TERRIBLE IDEA. I guess Alex is is just as guilty but Jack started it omg.

Also, I love John. He's just so blunt and disinterested in the whole charade, it's brilliant, hahaha.

The flashback was SO CUTE. I know it can be hard to make first time smut nice but not cliche, but that was really sweet, I think you wrote it really well. And the fact that it was for Jack's birthday omg my heart. So sad that he and his parents weren't (aren't?) speaking though ydgsihjokhj.
