I can't believe it took me almost a month to get to this last chapter. I opened the link at least twice, would read a few chapters before, and then didn't want it to end. Geez this story has been an amazing ride from day one and I am so so so happy Jack got the family he wanted, even if the detours were wild. It was easy to be upset at Alex so many times but then just as easy to forgive.
This whole thing has been fantastic and I'm so happy it exists. Easily one of my favorite fics of all time.

i loved this :) i don't think I ever read the end in the google doc (maybe I did) but it's so good and I'm glad they got their happy ending!

This was SUCH a lovely ending, I'm so happy you finished this. I almost expected there to be another chapter where Alex ends up in New York again deciding he wants Jack back after all, hahaha. This was so nice though, it wrapped everything up really well... BLESS. Jack got his little family. <3

Omg I am so sorry that I have been MIA!! I had a really exhausting work schedule these past few months and had absolutely no time or energy to write much of anything in that time span. So, since this fic hasn't been updated in a while I decided to read your other fics (cause I love how you write) and I found out that a lot of fics I've read in the last few years (and loved) are yours! You're such a talented writer and rereading your fics was a delight, and the other ones I hadn't previously read were awesome too. The only "bad" thing is that some weren't completed so I'm never gonna find out if Jack is a good team captain and is gonna get moved into the major league (I don't know anything about baseball lol) or if Alex will ever get his memories back, but I'm weirdly okay with that cause I've read almost all of your other completed fics and they were so good, lol. So yeah, I just wanted to let you know that I love basically everything you write and I can't wait for this fic to be updated cause I love it. Have a good day :)

Chapter nineteen is cute and I'm soooooo excited for Alex to introduce Daniel to his parents lmfao I'm not sure what I'm expecting but it's going to be good.

Also this part made me laugh aloud:

“You're giving me angina,” Sierra mumbles under her breath, puts her blinker on as the exit comes up.
“What the fuck is angina?”
“It’s - nevermind. Why don't you double check your bag again before we get there.”

I just read Alex's mom meeting Daniel and I do actually have tears in my eyes??? Like I don't quite know why??? His mom is just so ready to take on this new obstacle and Alex is so changed and I just???? My heart????

For once I actually like what Zack has to say lol. He's kinda right for not giving Jack more advice too, like. It's not something Jack can let someone else decide for him. I'M STILL SO HEARTBROKEN FOR DAVE THOUGH, ESPECIALLY AFTER THE FLASHBACK COS THAT WAS ADORABLE.

God damn. Okay, I'm all caught up and now I feel guilt-free because of that hahahaha. Excited for more! I know there can't be that much left now.
