oh lisa, this is gorgeous
the aching tenderness between the two of them? and the soft longing. my heart was actually in my throat when Brandon showed up with fucking deployment papers like good god. And you were able to give us all of that longing and soft ease of summer in this lovely little slice of life. Just this little glimpse into these two's lives. and in second person!!! fucking wow second person is so hard to get right but I can't imagine reading this any other way.

yes! It was a thing.
HL made it through the first two edit rounds,
And I even got a projected publish date,
But the company went bankrupt lol.
It was a fun process though!

What NO Albus was fucking brilliant though!
We really are.
I spent an entire summer editing and rewriting HL a few years back because it was accepted for publishing, but then the company folded and I had to get the rights back.
After all that I can’t believe I lost it lol
