@ Chyrsta121 I was just revisiting my WIPs and I lied. I did start something for Pekka but never finished it. I'm going to include it in the scenes from an elevator that I added as a sequel to this story this morning.
@ FootieJo I'm already doing a deep dive on the Calgary roster to learn the team and I already have some ideas since there are several new guys coming to that team. It's a bonus that I'm already a fan of Lindholm and Hanifin.
@ dogandbutterfly I've already been doing my research on the logistics of Ale'x owning a cupcake truck in Canada. :)
Thankfully my husband's work schedule has settled down and while he doesn't love the department he was reassigned to, he doesn't hate it like he did when they had him working overnight. As for me, I'm just trying to find my passion for what I do again so like many of my stories, I'm a work in progress. But summer has been good so that is a plus. Hope your summer has been enjoyable as well!
Geez, I've been trying to leave a comment all morning! Ugh, Mibba!! Anyway, great story and I love a happy ending. Not sure I'm so happy about this whole Calgary thing, mainly because how am I ever going to see James?! Anyway, I look forward to the next installation of their story. :)
PS -- On a personal note, I hope work is better for you and your husband, too. I hope you've been able to enjoy the summer.
aww sad its over. loved the banter between everyone it shows a real friendship. her Harlem will be getting bigger now she's going to a new city lol. nice work as always. looking forward to more stories
It’s been a while!Hope you are doing well:) I LOVE this story. Their relationship is full of love, laughter and mutual trust and respect it’s a beautiful tapestry you weave!
@ dogandbutterfly I can't get enough of him either. I am pretty sure I'm gonna write at least one more Alex and James story. I just need to plot it out. :)
I did read the updates -- I just didn't have time to really give you a thoughtful comment. In the end, I thought, better a brief comment than none! But really, I've been enjoying your story (all of your stories, but especially any with James, as you know). Thanks for the diversion from real life!
Hi! Sorry I couldn't comment sooner -- but glad you're back. Great updates. I think James acted like I did on deadline day...ha ha Love the name of the truck, too, that's just PERFECT!!
Glad to see you're back and I'm glad you shared the backstory to all of this! Great to see them together again!
Sorry about the job stuff...I know how you feel in a way, I'm very bored and stifled by my job, but in our town, there aren't a lot of options. I feel bad for your husband, too. Transfers aren't always what you want them to be. Here's to better days ahead...I hope!
