Yes; it is happening in the current season so its starting out summer 2017 before she decides to follow him to Vegas.

Just curious - is this story taking place before the 2019 last chapter of the first story? Where they get engaged.

I adore these two....and I’m mapping out at least 3 other stories for other people while I’m writing this that I hope will one day come to fruition just so I can always revisit James and Alex.
