Again I like her dad, he seems wise not in the way I love Estella's no nonsense approach but he seems cool.

I agree with Gerard it wouldn't be right to start seeing someone else why he is still hung up on Ari, as wrong as it was for Ariella to date Adrian whilst hung up on Gerard the same applies to Geri.

I am praying that she comes back with her head screwed on and ready to fight for him and prove how much she loves him.

Maybe he needs to go see her and tell her that he wants to give things another go but she needs to grow up and talk to him about her feelings but then I think she needs to make more of an effort fight for him after everything she has put him through

Ok firstly I love Estella, she is amazing. Straight talking no nonsense my new fave lol.

Totally agree with everything she said I think some distance would be great for them, absence makes the heart grow fonder and all that. I think she needs to take some time for herself as well to sort out what she really wants (even though we know its Gerard) she cant have any doubts and only when she is 100% sure that being with him is her end game should she start to pursue him again.

I'm imagining a scene where she goes up to him in a bar and Introduces herself lol l, some flirting a fresh start. Wipe the slate clean so to speak they cant keep comparing the new relationship with the old one.

That never happened lol.

It was nice to see a softer side to Ariella, up until now I doubted she was human with the way she has been unfeeling about everything but I can see sparks of the sweetie I'm guessing Gerard fell for.

I'm looking forward to seeing how the distance works out for them and hoping she has a epiphany and realises that fear is not an excuse to not live your life. Its about being happy and making other people happy. She had a moment of insanity and now its time to get away, sort her head out come back and fight for her man.

Nice turn of events and I loved the introduction of Estella, she's friggin awesome. I hope to see more of her. It was nice to learn a little bit more about Ariella as well.

I agree @ Jayme112234. I dont normally like it when other people get Brought into an already messy situation but I think Gerard deserves to have some fun, maybe not get into a relationship as that just complicates things more but to date and not mope around.

And Ariella needs to end things with Adrian immediately her heart isn't in it and as much as I think he's boring he is a nice guy and doesn't deserve to be strung along. She needs to work on her first and sort out whatever issues she has before she tries to rebuild things with Gerard again. Its the only way things can work out for them. And this time no pressure. Just date have fun take things slowly.

See they had that moment, it didn't give him closure only made things worse and I'm relieved that Gerard took a step back and reminded her that she had a boyfriend.

@ mslou1 I couldn't agree more. She seems to want it all and both Adrian and Gerard deserve better than someone who clearly has commitment issues. She's worried about things getting to serious and yet that's what's happening with Adrian, who will be dumped and she'll just ping-pong back to Gerard.

Would love to see Gerard be set up on a date and maybe even pull a Sheldon Cooper and say that it was hard enough getting over her and start dating other people first before they can maybe get back together.

No no no no no. Gerard nooooo, you know I was reading the start of this when he was funny and teasing and I was thinking yes Geri its good to see you with a smile on your face and its good to see you happy. And then he ruined it all by kissing her. It just further cheapens their relationship and I now have an even lower opinion of Ariella, she has a boyfriend. He's a moron but he is still her boyfriend and she should not of been close enough for him to kiss her.

Its like she wants to have her cake and eat it too, she doesn't want him to be her boyfriend he wasn't good enough for that but hey ho lets have a quick roll in the hay. And now she's gonna dump adrian (which is long overdue I dont know how she made it through their first date) and then Gerard is gonna forgive her they will get back together and the whole time I will be thinking actually he deserves better. Cos its not Gerard who wasn't good enough its her. She's a mess, here she is standing in front of this man who's heart she broke telling him in one breath I dumped you cos you weren't as perfect as I thought you would be and in the other about to tell him she loves him.

This far she has been incredibly selfish. She has Adrian sitting at home waiting for her nicely and then poor Gerard is trying his hardest to move on and she is there asking him what if Adrian wasn't there and kissing him and trying to initiate him having sex with her. I am seriously struggling with her I dont understand why Gerard cares at this point, every word out of her mouth just further hurts him and aggravates the situation and causes more pain.

Trying to turn Gerard into the other man is just so disrespectful to me, here is a man that put his heart and soul into loving her, who spent 2 years playing chicken with her to finally have her admit her feelings and he is on top of the world and them BOOM. It's over he's heartbroken she moves on in the blink of an eye and then just when he is finally starting to move on and mend his heart she goes to him tells him he wasn't good enough to be her boyfriend shares a kiss with him and tries to make it more then asks him what would happen if she didn't have nice and boring and safe Adrian. Its unfair and I'm not altogether sure she deserved anything other than to be alone at this point.

I'm waiting for the moment I see the sweet, kind and friendly Ariella that I think she probably was and can be before she lost her mind lol. I think maybe if we knew more about her it would help, like what is her job? Where is here family? How did she meet Gerard,Anto and Lionel? Just something other than she's horrible at relationships lol.

BTW sorry for the marathon review I am strangely protective of this fictional Gerard lol.

Gerard even after everything he still is the top man by reminding he about her boyfriend. she needs to sort her life and head out before they can even think about giving things another go

Totally agree, why 6 months after you dumped him would you tell him it was because he sucked at being a boyfriend? Especially when you know he is trying to move on. Thats just gonna open up old wounds and bring fresh hurt. Hasn't the poor guy been through enough?

So she dumped him because it was slightly awkward them being affectionate now? Thats dumber than he was always late. Of cause it was gonna be awkward they had been friends for years. What was she expecting? And I dont like how yet again it was Gerard's fault, he was treating her like she was still just his friend, so what? You can be friends with your spouse in fact its probably a great thing that you like to spend time with them and not just because they are your partner.

This talk is going to be about nothing more than making Ariella feel better and thats wrong. She should of told Gerard 6 months ago or better yet had the conversation with him and told him her worries before she dumped him and broke his heart. How will telling Gerard she dumped him cos he sucked at being her boyfriend do anything other than make him feel worse?

And Adrian is really starting to annoy me, here is my problem the stars of the show here are supposed to be Ella and Gerard right? So all we have seen of their relationship is her dumping him, breaking his heart and then seemingly having absolutely no feelings towards him romantic or otherwise with the way she quickly moved on with Adrian. Now with Adrian its all cosy nights in and lingering kisses, which fine whatever but she's acting like he is the love of her life and poor Gerard got dumped for being late or treating her like she was his friend and not just his girlfriend. Right now I'm struggling to see how they were ever even friends lets alone how they could ever be more.

It's frustrating cos I want to like Ariella but she hasn't done anything to make me like her, she's sort of whiny and selfish, I'm hanging on cos I love your writing and I know it will all work out in the end somehow but Ella is a struggle for me.

I feel so bad for Gerard, the more it becomes apparent just how much she broke his heart the more I think screw her and her perfect boyfriend she doesn't deserve him, apart from some half assed "you know how I feel Gerard" we have had nothing from Ella.

Its hard to believe they could ever make a relationship work whilst she is so indifferent.

And what about the boyfriend? Even If Ella and Gerard were to make up now he is still gonna be there and why he is still in Ella's life I dont see her and Gerard ever being friends. It will be too hard for him to see her with a boyfriend and Ella will feel awkward with him knowing how much it is hurting Gerard.

Glad that he didn't go to the party... it's better that he didn't even if this isn't easy on him since all their other friends will be there
