I like the bit of insight into Kira's personality at the beginning of the chapter. It's good to have a contrast in leading characters, especially when they're the same sex. It keeps things more interesting and realistic! And I totally agree that opposites attract is not just in relation to a sexual relationship... some of my best friends are the complete opposite to me, but that's often a good thing I find.

Oh, snap! She just put Zacky right back in his place, didn't she? Personally, I don't know Alter Bridge's music, but regardless, I feel his comment was such a dick move. I would think that someone from his background and what not would be more open minded about other people's music interests and influences. He's on my naughty list now.

Personally, Kira believed the time apart would be good for the couple. Better for Taryn than Cooper, but that only pleased Kira more. - Couldn't agree more! And I barely know these people... Hahaha

Oh, I love the contrast in the girls already!! And even though Kira is shyer than Taryn, that she still stands up for her music loves, regardless of who is questioning them :D

I see some drama happening with Coop because of this touring. He sounds like he’s a bit jealous about them touring with dudes. Lol I doubt these guys realize just what they’ve gotten themselves into with having the band on tour with them

Hello! I have a habit of writing my comment as I read, so this may be a lil disjointed and random, but here we go!

Cooper is frustrating already. I get his jealous/nervous about his girlfriend being around super hot guys (coz lets face it that's what's about to happen) but if he trusts her like he should, then this is a non-issue. He is definitely not helping himself by being so whiny about it, he should be as supportive as he can and not give her reason to want to look elsewhere. Not that I think she will... maybe. Haha.

I like that Kira wants only the best for Taryn, especially when it comes to her relationship, but man would it suck having your best friend and your boyfriend hate each other. It would definitely be exhausting at times, constantly defending them to each other. I hope for Taryn's sake that they don't cause her too much grief about the other.

Argh, now he's calling and carrying on? Not cool, Cooper. You are not playing your cards right here at all. Jeez.

You gave me permission to be here! - argh, that wording irks me. I don't like how she's implying that she needed his permission to attend the party, especially since as she pointed out, it's a work function. And even if it wasn't, she's a grown ass woman and can go to whatever party she wants to, whether he likes it or not.

Bahaha! I love her reaction to Matt... I imagine I would say something similar to her "Holy fuck." if he just randomly popped up on me!

I love his instant insight to her conversation, obviously probably having had similar arguments in the past.
