So it has been a hectic couple of weeks and I missed a few updates, but now I'm all caught up... And I hate your cliffhanger!!!!!!! Lol. Rabia can't die!

Does this mean Ganon has been vanquished? Or is he still lurking around, temporarily wounded and having to regroup?

    Only five more chapters? *pouts*

    And so the plot thickens...

At least there is some hope now, a belief that they have a way to defeat Ganon. I imagine if Ganondorf's love for Rabia keeps the demon somewhat at bay, the combined love for his wife and son will work even better.
I'm so glad Sheik had the strength to shake the brainwash before he hurt Kaik. I think they are my two faves. I especially love Kaik, but Sheik is a close second.
And now they have another ally in Midna, which can only help. I just need Ganondorf to stay stronger than the demon in his head for a little while longer. The others almost have a plan in place, at least. I'm scared that Ganon will try to convince Ganondorf to hurt Rabia soon, though, in the name of protecting what they have done thus far....or as a means of persuading Link and Zelda to do things his way.

Thank you for the explanation! I was thinking along the lines of Ganandorf showing favoritism to the child because it's his and Rabia's, but I wasn't sure there wasn't a deeper reason for Kabira (maybe I was hoping she wasn't just being a jealous brat) Mr. Green

Yeah, Kabira shot herself in the foot with that plan. tehe

Kabira is 11 and not exactly logical. Gerudo have males born every 100 years and the males are always king. Ganondorf is like, mid thirties so obviously no more boys will be born for a while. Kabira is paranoid she'll lose claim to the throne to Rabia's child just because it's Rabia's child. Like, she thinks Ganondorf will favor this baby because it's his current wife's child.

She made an emotional, childish choice in giving Rabia a potion that would at least ensure that her child was a daughter and at least in that regard couldn't challenge her for the throne. It was useless because males are only born every hundred years, but she ignored a warning on the potion that essentially said "hey u use this potion to mess with a child for ur own gain you'll get the outcome you're trying to avoid"

So yes, she WAS next in line. But... not anymore lmaooooo

Well, at least now Rabia knows more of what she's dealing with, but short of taking possession of the Triforce herself, how can she break Ganon's influence on her husband?
Haha! I knew Link would show back up and help Zelda. There is going to be hell to pay, though, once Ganondorf discovers that she's gone...especially since Rabia was the last one seen talking to her.
And Finn being gone... Is that bad or good? Hmm.

Question: how would changing the sex of the baby secure Kabira's position as the heir? Is it because Gerudo society is matriarchal, so as Ganondorf's only daughter she will be first in line?

Well, now Rabia knows some of the truth. I'm surprised Finn told her anything at all.

Ganandorf at least seems to be resisting the shadow's commands to kill. He is yet to murder anyone in the name of whatever -- whomever -- is encouraging this course of action.

Tania has to be going for help, but who in the world is she going to turn to???

There has to be something else going on. I just can't believe that Ganandorf is truly this person. Not after everything that happened with Rabia. There just HAS to be another explanation.

I don't think Rabia's acceptance will last very long. He's her husband, but Zelda and the others are her BEST friends. She won't stand for any action against them, no matter how small, and she's smart enough that she's going to notice the signs that something is up. Ganandorf is not behaving like the man she fell in love with.

Maybe Rabia giving Kabira credit that she doesn't fully deserve will thaw her a little? I knew Ganandorf would be excited about the baby! But...him having a conversation in the middle if the night and lying about it? That's not good.

Zelda has reason to worry. I understand her distrust in regard to Ganandorf, as much as I don't like it. And I would love to think Ganandorf's sudden haste in sealing a deal is due to him wanting to be home with his pregnant wife, but something tells me that's not the case.

I'm excited to hear your news! Arms

I'm not saying it's a bad idea to have a backup plan, but I'm not sure Ganandorf will appreciate the secrecy. Still, with Zelda refusing to budge, they're gonna have to do something.

And she's pregnant!!!!!!!!! Crazy OMG! Boy... I bet Zelda and the others aren't gonna react well to that news Sad I can't stand it that their friendship is on the rocks.

Ganandorf can't pretend he didn't notice a difference. Yes, Zelda had been indifferent and/or cold to him in the past, but she had thawed a bit after all the stuff with Finn and him marrying her BFF. She is noticeably back on the defensive. I hope she tells Rabia why, because unexplained distrust is much more damaging than forthright honesty. Still, I know Rabia will be bothered until that conversation happens (if it does). A difference in a friend's behavior does weigh heavily on the mind.

Dark times are a-coming, I fear...

It's gonna be like in Ocarina of Time after you become an adult and everything's all creepy. But I don't want Ganandorf to be evil, and I specifically don't want Rabia to go against her friends. Sad I'm interested to see how this unfolds and what you do with it!!!!!
