I'm gonna state the obvious, but it's good she didn't tell Axel what was actually wrong with her. He probably would have gone to the cafeteria and ripped Tyler's head off. Cam and his cronies are total douche canoes
I know her dad is worried and just wants what's best for her, but at some point he is going to have to trust her judgement of people. At least she has an ally in Jared. That certainly helps.
Her dad is right. Shutting yourself away and staying trapped in your own head isn't healthy. Sweet of Axel to check in and offer to be there for her. She has supportive friends, I'm sure, but an extra source of comfort never hurt anyone :D
It was unkind of her father that he intended to not give her the choice. Personally, I probably wouldn't want to be there. I was with my uncle when he passed and...I hate that being my last and clearest memory of him. On the other hand, how could you not want every single second you could have with your mom? God. This literally makes my heart hurt for Brook.
Well....maybe Cam could come over and watch a movie there? Though I don't think her dad would go for that. He doesn't seem the type. Still, she's Braxton's sister, not his mother or legal guardian. And she's young. She deserves to have a life of her own!
Poor Brooklyn I understand exactly what she means by death being the kindest outcome; it was that way when my grandfather was sick. He was in so much pain and all he could do was lie in bed. There was no chance of him getting better. It doesn't sound like Jared has been her rock so far, but hopefully he means it when he says he's not going anywhere.
Ah, babysitting duties. But it really doesn't sound like she missed much by not going to the bonfire. And she's clearly going to have time with Cameron! He's making sure of that
I had just learned that fact about them training police dogs in German from warching "Live PD." Lol.
