Gerards mum seemed really nice and i loved how Gerard smiled at her even though he was kinda annoyed i think it was cute and demonstrated character.

But I loved it, I really like Gerard's mom, she just seems so awesome.
It was a few moments later before my mum appeared at the top of the stairs, decked out in pink, and came scrambling down them in her black ballet flats. “Ta-da!” she smiled.
I don't know why I loved that so much, I think just her words, it made me smile.

It only took twenty minutes, as opposed to the forty it usually takes for me on the bus, in her new car to get to the front of the school. I made her take the most inconspicuous car we owned. Not that inconspicuous if you ask me.
I hate how he hides stuff. I'd just like to know what he's afraid of. Does he think that kids are going to start calling him stuck up, or that they're going to use him for money? I'm really curious, he doesn't even tell Jess.

“Alright, alright. Hold your horses. No need to tap your foot like a gay man,”
As I've already mentioned...his mom is AWESOME.

“Hey Ray. It’s chilly this morning isn’t it?” I said, almost laughing out loud at Ray’s attempt to stick a beanie over his hair.
I couldn't stop laughing at that! I re-read it three times and it still made me giggle.

“Morning ma’am. How do you do?” he said, sticking his hand out.
Wow...another side of Frank, the politer version. It kind of made me go wow there, because I don't ever remember you writing him like that before.

His head lolled against the window, getting whacked every few moments from the motion of the vehicle we were in. I couldn’t stand to see him bash his head against the window anymore so I gently eased him over so he was leaning against my side, his head resting softly on my shoulder.
That's cute, and I want to see Gerard's expression after he wakes up.

Beautifully written also, and thank you for adding me in your little dedications. (:

omg. this story came to me at the perfect time. i was looking for something to do other than what i was supposed to do in computer class, and then bing, a story named Distractions comes up. This story is by far the greatest, most well written Frerards i've read in a while. i love it can't wait for the next update!
