I like this story. For various reasons, I like the detail you put into it, how you describe the characters.
However, since this is in her point of view, I would really like to see more of how she's feeling. It would help if you put more emotion, what's going on inside of her instead of the things that are surrounding her. From what I've read, it's as if she doesn't care. Is she home sick or rather, glad that she's away from home? Scared or completely numb about the fact that she was kidnapped?
Other than that, I enjoyed reading.

Are you going to write about her parents? I wouldn't expect them to just brush off what equates to their child being kidnapped.
