Will there be a sequel? I think you've left room for one. If not, the ending was fantastic, like a good story should be- it makes you think, consider the options, is satisfying, and even a little sad. thanks for writing it.

This was MUCH different than the other stories, and I loved it! You've succeeded in prolonging my homework, but, its all good. Anyway, Great job on the story, loved it to death, and all of the characters. Especially the joker. he stayed true, here.

HOLY FUCK. That was....i don't even have a word. I want someone to make up a word for what that was. I found your story last night and have spent the whole day reading it. You're an excellent author and your word usage is exceptional. You portrayed the Joker's insanity (and EXTREME bipolarness) very very very well. I could picture Heath Ledger saying it. My few constructive points though: even though the joker is obviously a psychotic crazy man ther was a liiiittle too much violence (as in him beating people) for me though that could just be my taste, and is it just me or was Shane always crying or passing out? All in all it blew my mind and the ending was spectacular. Im sorry there's no sequel :( i loved it.....and if you for some reson would want to read MY story and add some feedback it would be HIGHLY appreciated....though im sure you already knew that :)

I LOVE the way you gave the Joker a...............charming instability........within your story.It was a lot different than other Joker stories that I have read and had great originality. ^_^

So I am going to be totally and completely honest with you. I read the first chapter of this story when you first posted it, and I hated it. And I went on with my life and read other stories, until yours reached 4 stars, then I decided to give it another go.

It was the best choice I ever made. My only regret is that I was too fucking lazy to leave a comment. So let me take this time to make it up to you.

The voice you write in is mesmerizing. I literally felt like Shane Fatello took my hand and led me through those six months of her life, all the way up to the point where she snapped. The details you wove in were very intricate, but not over-powering. I felt like something was accomplished every time you updated. And the way you developed the characters, over time, almost every one of them evolved in some way, and I became attached to all of them. It was incredible to witness the way you cultivated their existence, almost as if you had known them in real life. That leads me to dialogue, which is a very hard skill to master, but my god did you ever master it completely. Never once (save the first chapter) did I ever scoff at anything your characters said.

The Joker. I have seen utter failure when it comes to portraying his character. I've attempted to write numerous Joker stories, and I felt that my own work comes up short. But you, you my friend, he flowed out of you. I can't phrase it any other way. You took him completely away from the movie-dialogue, almost goofy at times stereotype, and made him something different, something original. You made him into something real.

Now, do I want a sequel? Of course. I'm an American, and we don't believe you can ever have too much of a good thing.

But I am also a writer. I only want a sequel if you feel like you need one.

This story was amazing, not just the plotline and the characters but watching you grow as a writer. That last chapter was bone chilling and had the same effect on me after watching "Fight Club" for the first time. Simply energizing. You have talent, Missy. I pray you'll invest more of it into this delightful plot you've so cleverly created.
