Freaks and Fortune - Comments

I have no idea when I first read this or reread this but I know that I love it every single time. I watched The Greatest Showman which reminded me of Freaks and Fortune and god I just want to run away to the circus now. It would be so fun. I wish there was more of Ravi (the human, but more of the elephant would be good too) but only because I think I’m basically him. I love this so much

Okay so I'm rereading this and it's so perfect because "Cal" like "degrees kelvin" and because it's like Calcifer in Howls moving Castle (and I highly doubt I spelt that correctly but I'm posting this from my iPod so whatever)

PS I have a Ginger friend who has been dubbed "Firebear" for at least two years now

Holy Crap....that was amazing. i am at a loss for words. like honestly. this is an amazing story. so full of emotion and drama. i absolutely and possitively love this story. you see, i was looking for a circus story cuz i would like to write one of my own (not trying to copy) and i came across this story. it was exactly what i wanted to read, and im really happy that i came across it. i have never finished a story before, and i like seeing other authors finish their accomplishments. im proud of u too! so, thanks for giving me inspiration with ur writing. im probably gonna go and read the rest of ur stories. have a nice day :D

I absolutely adored this story. Actually, weirdly enough, I logged on just to read Freaks and Fortune! So...well, like me but it's rare. Very rare.

I just adore Cal! He's sweet, yet obnoxious. His sarcastic jokes make me laugh, the way he does things-laugh, move, talk, cry in denial- just make me feel mushy. And that's very good, because usually...I dispise feeling mushy, or anything resembling weak. Oh, and the best! When he's drunk. The funniest [sensored] ever!

Ivy. Dear, smart, sensitive, sarcastic, funny Ivy. I love her character. It's so...cheerful, and realistic. In truths, that's all I really like about her. And the fact that she can make friends so easily. Savannah! Aqua! Love, love them! They're....cool. Like my favorite kind of sister and brother ^-^ Ravi and Anthony, I swear, one of the cutest gay couples alive!(in story)

Everything about this story is very, very interesting. Please, do not stop writing, my dear. You have a talent for writing a very complex, yet simple, interesting, good story.

P.S. Sophie! Like Howl's Moving Castle! In which....in which...in which... Have you read it? I think so! X3 He-he.

Okay, here's the deal.

I posted on the Find A Story! thread, asking for a well-written, non-cliche original fiction. Something that would keep me up at night thinking about it long after it finished. Something that had me secretly opening my laptop when I was meant to be sleeping at midnight. Somethine worth a long, long subscription.

I got it. I searched through a few old posts and found a list of the user's 'best OFs you've ever read'. Your username was there. This story... is fabulous. The writing, the plot, the metaphors, the descriptions. All of it is just beautiful and honest and so, so original. It was funny and it hooked me. The author's notes were intriguing as well! I particularly liked Chapter 30's...

Anyway, excuse my ramblings. I just thought I'd let you know how much I appreciate your writing and your passion for your characters and Freaks and Fortune. Congratulations on an amazing story. I can't wait to read the rest of the chaptered fictions that you've written. You've got a fan here.

amazing absolutely amazing

I reread this for like the third time, because I'm awaiting a "Time" update. Its four Am, so I really can't remember, but I wanted to comment. I don't remember where but some where you said "He-something or other-is naked hand" and that line looked to dirty lol because he wasn't wearing his gloves, like he was walking around with no pants or something.
Also, there's a lot of stuff in there I don't remember. Have you been adding stuff behind our backs? It was sweet to read those preGui comments and the ones about you luring him away, with grape jolly ranchers and shiny things =)
