Chapter 4
Danii’s POV
I left the classroom at lunch to be met by Kimmy right outside.
“It’s about time” I couldn’t help but laugh as she pushed herself up from her place leaning against the wall.
“You know what Mr Vinson is like, he always has to go over the time he has… so where now?”
“I want a drink, so the café” I nodded and began following her down the hallway.
As we got to the doors of the school café the doors opened to 5 guys walking out. They were the 5 most populist guys at our school, they had an “amazing” band according most of the school too. I couldn’t help but stare as they walked passed.
“I can’t believe they’re so nice looking but they seem to be so up themselves”
“That’s what you get when you have the “school fame” as people call it. Popularity”
“Yeah, come on let’s get your drink”
We walked over to the drinks machine and as Kimmy got her drink I stared around the room, everyone was sat with their own little table of friends laughing and joking. I turned my head to where someone was laughing, Emily was sat on a table, next to here was Ali Paul and the rest of the 5 guys he hung with, they must of came back in just as we walked over to the drinks machine. It was then I noticed who else was sat with them.
“Oh my God, is that Lucas sat with Emily and the guys?” I nodded, now knowing Kimmy was also looking where I was looking.
“Yeah, but why?”
“Do you think they’re the “friends” he was talking about earlier, and the “friends” he goes to every morning?”
“There’s only one way to find out” I said before walking over, Kimmy at my side in seconds.
“What you gonna say?” I shrugged, I seriously didn’t know what I was going to say but I wanted to find out why my brother was sat with the most popular guys in the school.
“Lucas?” Lucas looked up with a grin on his face, it soon disappeared.
“Danii? What are you doing here?” I laughed at his stupidity, it was always Lucas to act dumb.
“This is the school diner, and I do go to this school. My question is why you are with that and them?” I said, pointing at Emily then the 5 guys.
“These are my friends” he mumbled so quietly I nearly didn’t hear it.
“What?”
“I said these are my friends” he said much louder.
“So popularity is more important than us?”
“Dude, who are these?” Ali Paul said to my brother, pointed at Kimmy and I.
“We, are his friends too. Oh and this is his sister” Kimmy said to Ali Paul, giving him a little glare. He rolled his eyes then looked at my brother.
“You have a sister?” My brother nodded at Ali then looked back at me.
“Can we talk about this at home? Please?”
“So you finally want to tell us about your friends you’ve kept secret from us? You finally want to talk to us, your so called sister and one of your so called bestfriends? Well I don’t want to talk to you” I glared once more before walking away from them.
“Danii!” I kept walking, not even realising Kimmy had to pick up speed to keep up with me.
