Madeline's a twenty something art major whose boyfriend of two years cheats on her with her older sister, Marigold. All she wants is to sit in her apartment, drink whiskey and sing along to Billie Holiday but next thing she knows she gets caught up in a world of drug, sex (and sexuality) and lies. All because of a train wreck in boots, Jack. Love means never having to say you're sorry but no one not even Madeline is convinced this is love.
