Serena: A Whole New Breed of Vampire

Serena’s POV:

I awoke somewhat chilly and smile seeing three pairs of golden eyes fixated on me. Alice attacked me when my violet eyes met her squealing “We get to wear our outfits”

“I know Alice” I giggled detangling myself from Edward Rose and Alice. I stretched my clothes from yesterday restricting my movements a bit “I’m going to shower. Esme will you take care of Lupa today?” I called while searching the dresser for a towel

“Of course” her voice called back just as I found a lush blue towel I skipped to Edward’s bathroom and soon began my morning routine.

I stepped out of the bathroom in my towel while shaking my hair it rippled colors because I was so excited but finally settled on my natural blonde curls. I heard Alice giggle before I was rushed from Edward’s room to Alice’s I laughed as I saw Edward’s face as we left he pouted I blew him a kiss just as we disappeared.

“Rose hair” Alice commanded lightly tossing me to Rose like I was a football I glared and pouted as Rose began to scrunch and work my hair into soft messy natural curls. After a bit it was almost dry she said done while leaving to finish her own curls with a curling iron.

“Ok make up” Alice said her hair was its messy the way she always wore it her crest necklace was around her neck she was dressed and had just a bit of gloss and eyeliner on. She smiled and smudged charcoal eyeliner around my eyes and then added a touch of pink gloss . “Eyes” she commented I blinked and she smiled before saying “Done”

She says “Clothes” I watch as she runs to my clothes and brings them back to me I quickly change at super human speed before ask “What time is it?”

“7:15” Rose said smearing some red lip gloss on her lips

“Perfect I need breakfast” I said prancing from the room after grabbing my giant purse

I arrived down stairs to see Esme fixing me eggs while Lulu play attacked Emmet on the kitchen floor. I stepped over the two playmates and said “Yum Esme smells amazing thanks so much” I hugged her as she handed me a plate I ate a little faster than human pace

“No problem” Esme smiled before snatching Lulu from Emmet and say “Lets go work in the garden to day Lu” Emmet pouted a bit before getting up.

As I set my plate in the sink everyone arrived in the kitchen I quickly said “I’m driving the convertible”

Rose huffed before saying “Fine Let’s go”

Everyone grabbed coats to maintain their human image and Edward handed my a soft worn black leather jacket of his I slid it on over my hoddie and top and then inhaled his scent Thanks Baby he smiled at me before wrapping his arm around my shoulder and kissing my temple. We walked to the garage and the boys went to the Volvo while Rose Alice and I went to the convertible. “See you at school, boys” I said hopping in and zipping out of the garage.

I sped down the back roads my hair flew everywhere Rose had tied a silk scarf around her head to control her hair and Alice sat in the back in her own little world. I only started slowing when the school was in sight “I hate school” I grumbled as I pulled into the parking lot. Every single person there, including teachers, turned wide eyes when they saw the car. Their jaws though dropped when they saw I was driving it. I parked and the Volvo pulled out next to us. I got out of the car and reached to grab my purse and felt arms wrap around my middle “Ed” I groaned “let me grab my bag” he released me and I grabbed it when I stood he threw an arm around my shoulders and began leading me to where the family waited. “Why is everyone staring” I asked snuggling closer to him as we reached the group

Rose scoffed “You’re the first student to date Edward” She smiled at me as she took Emmet’s hand “It is a big deal here” Alice nodded as we continued into the school all eyes fixed on us and staring. Thoughts bombarded me I quickly shut off both my and Edward’s mind reading abilities

“Thank you baby” he said softly before kissing my temple

“English time” Alice said taking me from Edward we walked to our lockers grabbed our books and then went to English we arrived just as the bell rang. We went to our table and sat down we talked quietly until the teacher said “Today class we will be starting Romeo and Juliet” Alice and I smiled brightly as the others groaned in annoyance

“Romeo Romeo where for out thou Romeo” I said spinning in circles through the crowded hallway Alice was in hysterics watching me.

“You called milady” My Romeo said

“Why yes kind sir” I said kissing his lips “What class do you have?”

“English” he kissed my hair before saying “See you at lunch fair Juliet” I stuck my tongue out at him as Alice and I picked back up our conversation on if we should go shopping this weekend on our way to Library. Once in the Library I saw Rose sitting with the other boys much like the first day, but unlike the first day I screamed “Rose” and sprinted at a human pace to her and jumped into her lap.

The librarian was about to hush us but turned around when she saw who we were I laughed, and every other student in the library craned his or her head to see what was going on “Do I look like an animal in a zoo?” I grumbled

Rose rolled her eyes before snapping “Take a picture” loudly all the people averted their eyes as I giggled

“Thanks” I said hugging her still perched on her lap “Now back to the original topic. Save me” I pleaded

“From?” she questioned looking confused

“Alice wants to go shopping again this weekend” I whined

“OOH Fun” Rose said turning to Alice as she sat down “Port Angeles or Seattle?”

“Seattle. Prom is coming very soon” she squealed clapping her hands

“When is Prom anyway?” I asked “No shopping” I added with a groan

“Three weeks and we will be shopping” Alice said sternly

I reached for Emmet and said “Save Me” Crawling into his lap staring wide eyed and the manic girls “I hate shopping with you two I feel like such a mooch” I pouted

“You are going and that’s final” Rose said before chatting about dresses with Alice I groaned and fell onto the table pouting

Rose Alice and I left the History room laughing hysterically “I thought he would slap you across your pretty little face” Rose said breathing hard

“He wished I would jump off a cliff, and he though I had left” I laughed opening the cafeteria doors.

Alice Rose and I wandered into the lunch line still chatting about History. I got my food and headed to the table where we all sat. I set my legs in Edwards lap and began eating I turned off his mind reading abilities and turned on my own. “Thanks baby” Edward whispered kissing my neck and holding me close.

I let my mind wander from thought to thought most revolved around me and Edward or me and the family, but I stopped when I reached Alice’s thoughts I watched as Bellary talked to a young new born male vampire giving instructions but I couldn’t see what for. I looked at Alice she had the same look of terror on her face. “Bellary” we whispered.

Edward gripped me tighter “What she planning?” Edward asked as I clicked on his powers

I shook my head “We don’t know” Alice said replaying her vision

Edward growled silently gripping me even tighter I would have snapped had I been human “Let’s go home” Edward said his thoughts said he was frightened I would be hurt

“I have 2 more classes and then and elective and study hall you can take me home after my two classes” I said stroking his face to calm him

“We have Bio last class don’t we” I nodded “and you have precalc next” I nodded again

“The second your class ends we are all going home” Alice said sternly

“Yes ma’am” I grumbled

Serena’s POV:

It has been a week no sign of Bellary and Alice Rose and I have gone to Seattle and bought Prom dresses. I’m getting ready for school I had to drop my art class because Edward takes me out of school every day after Bio. He is too worried it. I think about the quiet week I’ve had as I get ready. Edward has left and will be back to take me to school in about and 45 minutes probably less.

I looked threw my closet and picked out an outfit before hopping into the shower I quickly showered and towel dried my hair just letting it be today I applied some eyeliner mascara and lipgloss before going and changing for the day. I went into the kitchen and ate a banana just as I chunked the peel I heard a car pull up. I grabbed my bag and ran out the door carrying Edward’s jacket. I hopped into the car and leaned across him I gave him a nice soft hello kiss and said “Ready for school?”

“I am now” he said holding my hand tightly and kissing my knuckles softly

Alice and I laughed as Rose grumbled about stupid high school boys hitting on her “Sorry Rose you’ve got to admit it was hilarious” I said wheezing from laughing so hard . We stepped into the lunch room all eyes turned on us to watch as we made our way threw the line. I scoffed “You think they would get over it I’ve been her for over two weeks can’t they move on”

“No” Alice and Rose said grabbing an apple each

I glared as Alice said “So Prom is in less than two weeks I think we should have a spa night the Friday night before”

“Whatever you say Alice” Rose and I mumbled

“Jinx” We shouted

“Jinz” again we were in sync

I glared as we walked to the table Edward chuckled and said “Give it a rest” he pulled me down into he seat closest to him. His arm was draped around my shoulders “So” he stopped mid sentence as Alice was hit by a vision

Bellary was talking with the single newborn again she smiled and kissed his lips before he darted off and began running she smirked watching him. She turned and ran in another direction. Suddenly it morphed into my house it showed the vampire darting inside and pinning a note to my corkboard in my room. I grabbed a silk scarf and sniffed it before taking off once again threw my window.

I shivered and stood up I walked out of the cafeteria Edward on my tail with Alice on his. I jumped into my bug and sped off not waiting for either. The Volvo was behind me I threw my car into park in the driveway and leapt threw my open balcony window. I sniffed I smelt the vampire all over my room. I walked to the corkboard and saw the note my name was written in cute teenaged girl writing I ripped it from the board and opened it. Gotcha was all that was written, and a picture was tapped upside down. With a shaking hand I flipped the picture over it was my father he had been drained it was in the woods and Bellary stood smirking blood dripping from her teeth Not as sweet as you shall be was written in red on the picture. “NO!!” I screamed I dropped the picture and took off threw the window Edward called and tried to catch me but I was too fast I ran so fast I was flying barely touching the ground I ran until I saw the ocean it only took me a moment. I collapsed onto the cliff over looking that graying sky and choppy ocean. I shook and screamed tears streaked my face my fingers dug into the soil the earth vibrated under my fingers cracking and quacking. The wind spun and whirled faster and faster my body was the in the center of the sphere of debris. The waves crashed and grew as the clouds grayed and began to dump water on me and the surrounding area. I screamed and shook my daddy the first person to ever undyingly love my was savagely killed and it was my fault.

Suddenly the earth shook and a loud crash was heard rocks were tumbling into the ocean. Without knowing I had been watched I felt lean arms wrap tightly around me and a soft voice say “Hush” the world slowly calmed the cliff stopped breaking the wind turned to breeze the waves slowed the sky faded. “Come on” the soft female voice said. I was picked up bridal style and carried swiftly somewhere. I kept my eyes hut tight holding onto the thin woman carrying me.

I didn’t open my eyes until we slowed I looked up and saw a very pretty native American girl around my age she looked cold but her face crumpled when she looked into my eyes “I’m sorry” I whispered i saw we were in front of a small home no doubt on the reservation. I knew I shouldn’t be here but at this moment I didn’t care.

“I’m Leah” she said setting me down she hugged my and lead me into the home “Emily I need you” she called making me sit on a chair in a kitchen area I smelt baking it smelled amazing.

A woman who looked a lot like Leah but with scars on her face turned the corner she looked at me and said “Hello”

“I found her on the cliff sobbing” Leah said sitting next to me “What made you so upset?” she asked softly touching my hand

“Some bitch murdered my father” I spat taking her hand in mine she squeezed and smiled at me I watched as Emily’s jaw dropped and she gapped wide eyed between Leah and I

“What?” Leah snapped “I can be nice when I want”

“You’re a wolf aren’t you?” I asked Leah touching her scolding skin she nodded wide eyed “A vampire killed my daddy” I said softly she growled and shook “Hush” I commanded she quit shaking I turned to Emily “May I please have a glass of water?”

“Of course” she said getting me a glass of water and what appeared to be a giant blueberry muffin

“What are you?” Leah said looking at me stunned

“Promise not to kill me” I said looking her up and down

She smirked and nodded while saying “I suppose”

“Is Emily allowed to hear?” I asked looking at the two women they both nodded “I’m Vampiric Siren” I said taking a bite of my muffin

“What?” they said looking at me skeptically

“I was a siren that…” I stopped hearing the door slam open and watching large shirtless men come in. they were all rough housing until they saw me each stopped dead in their tracts and I groaned “God Damn it” I pounded my fist on the table making my water and muffin jump I caught the water and took a sip before fixing a glare at each man I glared intensely at the last “You. Leah” I whined “they all imprinted on me” each and everyone of them blushed but one. He looked at me quizzically before walking to Emily and kissing her lips then her scars “Thank you Jesus. You’ve imprinted already?” I asked the large man

He nodded “I’m Sam” he came over an picked up a lock of my hair five of the boys growled and shook

“Stop” I snapped at them they froze Sam looked at me

“Odd your like a sister I never got why is that?” he said sitting by me and releasing my hair

“Each of you imprinted on me since you’ve already imprinted you don’t want to jump me” I said smiling brightly “ Who has already imprinted?” four raised their hands “But then why were there five growls?”

One boy sheepishly blushed and said softly “My imprint is only three years-old”

“That’s kinda funny” I giggled five guys sighed I scowled “Ok all of you need to know I love my boyfriend and have no plans of leaving him. Each of you will find your true imprint I’m only a friend” I said looking each one in the eyes “got it” they all nodded one of the larger guys walked forward and threw me over his shoulder before taking my seat and setting me in his lap.

“My seat” he said with a mouthful of MY blueberry muffin.
I smacked his arm earning a yelp from him and took my muffin taking a huge bite “MY muffin” I growled

“Fine don’t have to hit sis” he grumbled reaching for his own I giggled all the boys sat but one. The one who tried to kill my Lulu

I growled at him and glared everyone turned to look at him his eyes were transfixed on my as I growled again “Jake” Sam said he didn’t move only stood

“You’re Jake’s imprint problem girl” the guy beneath me boomed he laughed and hugged me tight “What are you?” he asked tucking my hair behind me ear

‘Jake’ Growled I turned and hissed at him much like a cat would “Special” I said glaring lightly are the girls

“Duh” the youngest said he sat next to Leah

“I need names” I said perching my self more comfortably on the guy’s lap

“Leah” I rolled my eyes and pushed her lightly we giggled together everyone gaped for a second before the smallest boy beside her said “Seth Leah’s brother”

“Now you’re my brother” I said smiling He smiled back

“Jared I’ve imprinted so you nothing more than a friend no worries” A medium built guy said before scarfing another muffin I giggled

“Quil” the next guy said he was a bit shorter but had thicker muscles

“Three year-old huh?” I giggled he blushed

“Embry” the shyest said

I nodded and smiled he smiled back “Sam Emily” Emily said pointing to Sam and herself

I laughed and turned to the guy I was sitting on “Paul” he smiled before saying “I imprinted on Jacob’s sister” I heard the mutt scoff and grumble uniteligently

“I’m Serena” I said smiling t the table

“We know” Embry smirked

“You are all Jake thinks about” Quil added smirking at the mutt behind me

I turned and glared at him “You should NOT be thinking about me. I’m taken” I hissed to the boy

“I can’t help it you wont leave my mind” He said his hands shaking jus a touch

“Erase me” I growled standing up Leah wrapped her arms around me “Leah come on” I said taking her hand “I need a run” we walked out the back door Jacob Followed and everyone followed him

“You will not walk away from me again”

“Watch me” I said my back to him suddenly something had a hard grip on my arm

“No” he spun me around I watched as he shook

“Aww did I upset the wittle puppy” I said ripping my arm away “Listen hear mutt you mean nothing to me I don’t imprint back you have no pull over me I am head over heels in eternal love with Edward. I’m walking a fine line today my father was murdered so don’t mess with me or I might snap you like a twig” I poked his chest repeatedly with bruising force

He grabbed my hand and said “You cant love a leech let me love you like you’ve never felt before” he begged

“Never” I said ripping away from him suddenly he phased his paw caught my leg as he phased and he growled lowly he watched my blood soak into my jean I watched the wounds heal and cursed “Damn it these are my favorite jeans” I ripped off my tops and jackets and handed them to Leah before phasing I was a My wolf blacker than the night and star on my eye. I growled and lunged at Jacob. He stood frozen as I sank my teeth into him I flipped him over and sent him the length of a football field with a flick of my neck. I growled in his direction before phasing into my panther I made and meow noise to Leah and pointed to the forest she laughed and shook her head “Sure” was all she said she stripped and phased right in front of the boys obviously used to it and we too off she was about the size I was when I went into werewolf mode but she was solid grey and I was a touch smaller than her.

Edward’s POV:

I paced back and forth back and forth in the living room of my home waiting for Serena she had been gone for over 5 hours it was now almost six o’clock. I hadn’t stopped pacing since she had passed over the La Push boundry suddenly an snarl and a howl was heard outside. I ran out and saw Serena in panther form and a small all gray werewolf towering over her. I need clothes she said smiling I watched as the werewolf sneered He smells disgusting how can she stand it I rolled my eyes and said “You smell just as disgusting to me”

Alice appeared with a dress she flicked it to Serena who went to change behind a bush. Serena emerged her hand tugging a pretty Indian girl behind her. I attacked her in hugs and kisses “I missed you I was so worried” I said she giggled

“Edward darling, meet Leah” she gestured to the girl who was breathing threw her teeth “Leah meet Alice and Edward”

“Sorry but you guys don’t smell all that great to me” she said her voice strained

“You either” I said “but thank you for taking care of Serena I’m indebted to you”

“Bellary is going to attack on Friday” Alice gasped Edward and I watched the vision

“Shit” I squeezed Leah’s hand “Her Army I still more than we cold probably handle we cant take 20 newborn vampires on our own what are we going to do” I asked shaking

“That’s who we’ve been smelling” Leah mumbled “I need to talk to Sam I will call you later and tell you what he says” Leah said giving me a quick hug before disappearing into the woods

“We need to talk with the family” I said stalking into the house
