The Forbidden Baby

I couldn't get up from my bed at all.
I was wallowing in pity all too much.
Today was the day that I would find out the results of the test.
I was huddled into a ball with the covers.
"Peyton you have to get up." Marc said. I could hear him putting on his shirt.
I just curled up more and closed my eyes tighter.
"Peyton, get up." He said louder.
I ignored him and stayed in my little ball.
The bed sunk in next to me and he tried to pull off the blanket.
I gripped onto it more.
"Peyton."
"Leave me alone."
"Get up Peyton."
"No."
He ripped the covers off of me and I put my hands over my eyes to hide from the light.
"What the hell?" I yelled at him.
"Peyton get off your ass and stop feeling sorry for yourself!" He yelled at me throwing the covers to the ground.
I looked at him and glared.
"I can feel how I want to feel."
"Yeah well your being selfish!"
"I'm allowed to be selfish if I want to!"
"Not if your ignoring your motherly duties! Maybell keeps asking for you and you just lounge the fuck around."
"You don't understand anything!"
"I don't understand your point of view but I understand mine and Maybells. Maybell is being rejected and you don't even notice. You are too busy looking at te past when you should be looking at the future and Maybell is part of your future and I want to be too. I will be here for you forever but with how things are going I'm not sure if you will be here for me." He said his voice slowly changing from an angry tone to a sad one.
I looked at him for while before I leaned in and hugged him tight.
"I'm sorry, I'm so sorry." I said burying my head in his shoulder.
He held onto me too and pet my hair.
"Get cleaned. We have to go." He said then pulled away from me.
I looked at him as he started to leave the room.
"I love you, I do Marc." I said in a low voice looking at my feet.
He was at the door about to exit.
"I know, I love you too." He said then left.
I sat there for a while and took a shower.
I had to go and find out the killer question.
Who is the daddy?
