I smile at Edward. "Thanks" I said as I sat down next to him on the black couch. "What were you playing?"

Edward smiled over at me. God, I loved it when he smiled.

"You haven't heard me play the piano" he stated.

I shook my head. "Nope, I haven't"

"Would you like to hear me play?"

"I would love to Edward"

Edward grabs my hand then leads me downstairs to where the piano is located. He sets me down next to him. I watch as his fingers arch over the keys. A beautiful melody begins to play. My ears are filled with magic. The sound was better than any sound that I have heard before-better than the rain falling from the heavens, a new born baby crying for the first time, the sounds of love making. Better than all that. I smile to myself; Edward then begins to play a song that I recognized. His perfect mouth opens and he belts out the song. Even his voice was amazing; I got chills throughout my body as he began to sing.

Edward finishes the last note then looks over at me. At that moment I wanted to kiss him. I slowly and cautiously lean in. Edward knew what I was going to do. He flung himself up from the piano bench then looked at me sadly.

"I'm sorry Maddie, I don't know what will happen if I kiss you"

I slowly nod. "I understand. I better go home"

I stood up then left the beautiful house. It did hurt me a little bit that he shut me down but he wasn't ready yet and I understood. It had to be hard for him. He thirsted for my blood, it was really hard. I also couldn't believe that I was falling hard for Edward Cullen. I had never thrown myself at a guy like that before. I pulled to a complete stop in front of my house. I got my purse then went inside. Since Edward played the piano for me my music ability kicked into gear. I went into the spare bedroom where my acoustic guitar sat. I picked it up then began strumming a soft melody and started singing Why By Avril Lavigne.

I finished then sat the guitar back on its stand. I jumped when I felt cold hands touch my cheek. I whip around to see Edward staring down at me.
