Julia Flinch is just your average girl. She doesn’t believe in ghosts and thinks of superstitions as ridiculous myths. But after her parents’ divorce and her mother gets engaged to a man she dislikes, Julia is faced with the truth she once never believes in. It all begins when she moves to a small town in Scotland shortly after her mother’s engagement. Just when she’s about to settle in her new life, Julia is soon haunted by a ghost’s presence in her room before finally she encounters the ghost himself, who turns out to be the harmless ghost of a handsome young man named Cornelius Houtten. Julia doubts that Cornelius keeps a secret and that a ghost like him is still around for a purpose. There’s something he wants from her. But before she can unveil the past and the mystery of Cornelius, she unexpectedly finds herself falling for him.
