The Life I Never Knew I Had

I walked over to the tree and stopped died in my tracks, shocked.
I saw my family smiling at me.
I ran over to them with tears in my eyes.
I hugged my father first; I had all ways been a daddy’s girl.
I hugged my two older brothers next, then my younger sisters and younger brothers.
I hugged my mother last, she broke down crying.
I hugged her tightly.
They rest of the family joined the hug, turned it into a group hug.
I hugged my father again. “Look at my little princess, she’s turning into a beautiful queen” he whispered into my ear.
I pulled away and looked at all of them. “You all knew?” I asked.
“The younger ones didn’t but the older brothers and your mother and I knew,” my father said
“We didn’t want to tell you because we wanted to protect you, I guess Antonio was right” my mom said chuckling at the last part.
Antonio was my eldest brother.
He smiled at me. “I told them, we should have told you when you were sixteen,”
“I was on Tony’s side” my other older brother, Gavin, said.
“Sure, you were”
They all laughed. “I really missed you guys” I said hugging them again.
“We missed you too” my mom said.
“What’s your husband like?” Maya, the youngest of the sisters asked.
I smiled. “He’s a sweetheart”
“What does he look like?” Lucy, the eldest of the youngest of the sisters asked.
“He looks like him,” I said pointing to Ryan. “But he’s a lot cuter,”
“How’s Damien and Skye?” my father asked.
“They’re good,”
Antonio slipped something into my pocket.
I looked at him and he simply winked at me.
“Jenny, we have to leave” Ryan said
I rolled my eyes. “Do we have too?”
“Yes, let’s go” he said
I sighed. “Bye, guys. I love you so much” I said hugging all of them again.
“I love you too,” they said back to me.
I waved to them as I walked back to Ryan’s bike.
Once we reached the bikes I gave Lance and Ryan a huge hug.
“Thank you so much” I said
“Don’t it was Elliott’s idea” Lance said
“Well, thanks any way” I kissed both of their checks.
I saw Lance blush a little bit but then shook it of.
He got on his bike and speed away.
“Get on” Ryan said starting up the bike.
I did as I was told and put on the helmet.
Ryan speed away and soon we were back into the forest.
The helicopter was started up already.
Lance helped me get in while Ryan went to put back the bike.
Once he was on the helicopter, Lance lifted it in the air slowly and I took out my homework.
The ride to Algonquin seemed shorter than the ride to Maryland.
Once we landed I hopped off the helicopter, nearly falling, and ran inside.
Sebastian was there waiting for me.
“Hello Princess Jennifer” he bowed.
“Hello Sebastian, do you know where Elliott is?”
“He should be with the King and Queen in the meeting hall”
“Thank you” I said dropping my book bag.
I ran to the meeting hall and opened up the huge doors.
I saw that Elliott was talking to his parents. They looked at me shocked.
Elliott got up and smiled at me.
I crashed my lips into his and wrapped my arms around his neck.
He placed his hand on my waist and pulled me closer to him.
He pulled away and chuckled. “What was that for?”
“For letting me see my family,” I kissed him again.
“Anything for my wife to be” he smiled.
“Hello,” I said to Damien and Skye.
“Hello, Jennifer” they smiled.
“Jenny, it’s time for your training” Lance said.
“Okay,” I said and kissed Elliott again.
I opened my door to my room and nearly screamed.
My room looked just like my room at home.
“Like it?”
I turned around to see Ryan leaning against the door frame.
I tried to say yes, but I couldn’t.
“Wow, for once you’re speechless,”
“Thank you, for the room I mean”
“Yeah, no problem,”
I gave him a hug and kissed his cheek.
“Um, get ready” he said walking out.
I closed my door and changed out of my nurses’ clothes and into a pair of shorts and a tank top.
I took out my ponytail and shook my head.
The more I looked at my new hair the more I loved it.
I pulled my hair into a messy bun, put on my sneakers and went down stairs to meet Ryan and Lance.
“I’m ready,” I said
“Good. Lets go” Ryan said
We ran three miles again and then we worked on my fighting skills without the sword.
I was fighting Lance, who was a very good fighter, and Ryan watched. When I did something wrong he made me fix it.
It was a very annoying process.
After practice I took a shower and got dress in my normal clothes from home.
I meet Sebastian in the library and learned more about being a queen and Algonquin.
“Okay, I think that’s enough for today,” Sebastian said closing the book we were reading. “Dinner’s going to be ready soon,”
“Okay,” I said getting up.
I walked out the library and headed upstairs to my room.
I took out my hair and opened my room door.
I saw a small piece of paper on my bed.
I picked it up and read it.

Hello Princess,
Meet me in the sunroom.

Elliott

I smiled at the note and started to get dressed.
I put on a short blue sundress with a V neck and my blue heels. I putt on a little make up and curled my hair.
I looked at myself in the mirror one last time before I left my room.
I made my way up the endless fights of stairs until I got to the sunroom.
I open the door and walked in.
I saw a small table with tulips and candle sticks.
I walked out to the balcony and sat down.
I looked out at the beautiful landscape and let the cool air blow my hair around.
“Hello Princess,”
I looked up at Elliott; he was wearing a white button up shirt and black pants and long black boots.
“Hello Prince Elliott,”
He smiled at me and sat down.
“You look beautiful,”
“Thanks, you look very handsome,”
“Thanks,”
I told Elliott about my day starting back at medical school, and about my friends and family.
He told me about his day, doing king training and how much he hated it.
I thought it was funny how both Ryan and Elliott hate there King training.
Somewhere in our conversation Eugene brought us our food and left.
After our meal Elliott and I took a walk on the beach.
We walked hand and hand along the shore, and we were both barefoot.
I was a small little box not to far away from us.
“Hey, do you see that box?” I asked
“Yeah,”
“I’m going to check it out,” I said letting go of his hand.
I ran over to the small box and picked it up.
It was slightly wet from the water. The box was red and had a white bow on top of it.
I shook the box to see if anything was inside of it.
I heard a little rattle and I opened it.
