I Can't Stay Away

Wait! What!?

“What?” I asked whispering too.

“Oh my God. Did I just say that out loud” he asked to himself , whispering again.

He let go of me and looked me in the eyes.

“Well, I guess this was gonna happen some day” he started

“Look Nicole, the thing is that I love you. And I have ever since I met you, and when I got to know you more and knew it was real. That I really love you, for who you are. And you’re the most beautiful girl I’ve ever seen”

I stood there speechless.
Had this just happened?
No way. It can’t.

But there I was, staring at him in shock.

“I understand if you don’t feel the same at all but I just…”

“No, Jake. I do.”

He looked at me with a shocked face too.

“You what?!”

“I love you Jake. Always have. And always will”

He stood there, a few inches away from me. Not knowing what to do, I lean into him, and kissed him.

I really couldn’t believe what I was doing.
I was kissing Jake.
And oh my God….
He was kissing me back.
Feeling his lips on mine felt like a dream.
No better.
Like heaven.
