I Can't Stay Away

*Next day in the morning*

I got up at the same time as always and got ready for school.
Derek was gonna come by in a few minutes so we could walk to school together.

I heard the doorbell ring and went to see who it was. Even thought I already knew it was Derek.

But I was wrong.
It was Andy.

“Good morning beautiful” he said with a smile. God! How I love that smile……..

“Hey” I said a little disappointed it wasn’t Derek.

Wait.

What?

Disappointed??

Oh my god, what’s happening to me lately. He’s just a friend.
Isn’t he??

“Hey are you okay?” Andy brought me back to reality. But reality wasn’t too pretty.

Before I could answer his question, I had heard a new one. But not from Andy.

“Hey Kelly!! You ready!?” Derek asked/yelled from the sidewalk. Yeah we were on my porch.

“Ummm….sorry I gotta go, or I’ll be late for class” I told Andy as I headed towards Derek.
My friend.

“Ok, I’ll see you later babe” Andy yelled from my porch.

Thank God my parents weren’t home.

“Babe?” asked Derek trying not to burst out laughing.

“Your he’s babe?” he asked sounding a little more serious.

“No, of course not!!” I said but couldn’t avoid blushing.

“Oh My GOD!!! Your blushing!!” Derek yelled

“Shhhhh!!!! I am NOT!” I told him, trying to deny the obvious fact.

“Oh, yes you are…….and awww!! You look so cute when you blush” he said sweetly.

“Ahh, stop it!” I said blushing even more.

“Ok, fine. I’ll stop but just because you told me to. Cause your just too cute” he said and made me blush even more, which was something that seemed impossible.

We walked in silence the rest of the way.

When we got there, the bell had already rang, and we were late.
