Looks Can Be Deceiving

The door opened. Draco, Blaise and another guy you saw at the table earlier entered the room.

"Chris, right?" The guy surmised.

"Right, Chris Richards." You answered sticking out your hand.

"Brandon Carnes." He said shaking your hand.

"Now that we're all acquainted. Perhaps, Chris can tell us about his walk with Phillips." Draco prompted plopping down on the bed with a smirk.

"Perhaps, not." You said leaning against the dresser.

"Aw come on mate, what happened?" Blaise begged dragging a chair to the erratic circle.

"This is Aly Phillips we're talking about mate. I mean you two were unseen for a while." Draco ventured. They howled at the thought.

"Whoa whoa, whoa, nothing happened alright!" You urged unconvincingly.

"Right."

"That's what they always say."

"Nothing happened. We just talked." You explained.

"Just talked huh?" Alex reiterated with a smirk. You shot him a glare.

"To tell you the truth. I don't really think of her in that way. We're just friends."

"What?!" Brandon chirped in disbelief.

"If that were me, I'd be all over her in a second." Blaise announced.

"Exactly." Brandon agreed.

"Well, that has to be a first. Most blokes don't get anywhere close to being alone with her. Well, besides me." He explained brashly. They all laughed. You chuckled.

"So, any birds catch your eye, since you arrived?" Draco asked.

"Well. not really. Oh, actually there is this one girl." You started.

"Who?!" They all cutted in.

"Well, she's' really nice. Her name is Hermione Granger." You answered. They were silent.

"What'd I say?" You asked.

"Granger?! That fuzzy head know it all!" Draco grimaced.

"Brainiac?! Come on, Richards!" Blaise added.

"I don't get it." You confessed.

"Forget about Granger. She's a know it all mudblood Gryffindor freeak, and not that attractive by the way." Draco finished.

"Ookay." You said defeated.

"So, anyway…"
