Looks Can Be Deceiving

Part: 9

The next two weeks flew by. It seemed to go alot faster than the first day.

A pair of hands covered your eyes from behind.

"Hey stranger. We haven't spoke since the first day of school." You said hugging Aly.

"I know." Aly replied.

"What was it you needed to talk about?" You asked.

"Oh right, well nevermind that now, it's not important."

"Hi Chris!" The girl that ran up behind Aly said.

"Hi" You replied uncomfortably.

"Chris this is my friend Nolly. Nolly this is-"

"Chris Richards." She interrupted sticking out her hand. You shook it hesitantly.

"Nice to meet you Nolly. Do we have a last name?" You inquired.

"Um...yes we do." She giggled.

"Peterson, Nolly Peterson." She answered.

"Nice to meet you Nolly Peterson." You said before chuckling.

"Hey Aly! Did you-Uh, Hi." This other girl said looking at you.

"Hi." You replied.

"Chris, this is my other friend Taylor Grimes." Aly introduced.

"Nice to meet you Taylor." You said sticking out your hand.

"Hi." She said shaking it.

"You're in my History of Magic class." You ventured.

"Yes I am." She replied smiling.

"I'm in your Study of Ancient Runes class, that's right before your History of Magic class." Nolly chimed in.

"That's right you sit behind Goyle." You enthused.

"So you've noticed me?" A smirk grew across her face. "okaaay." You thought to yourself.

"You could say that." You replied weirdly. Aly shot Nolly a death glare.

"Okay, Noles. Let's go do that thing we have to do." Taylor said grabbing her arm.

"What thing?" Nolly replied cluelessy.

"Ah, nevermind." Taylor said dragging her down the hall.

"Your friend Nolly is something else." You chuckled.

"Yeah, she is. Sooo..." Aly started.

"So what..."

"So where you headed?" Aly asked crossing her arms behind her back.

"Class." You answered.

"Aw, right. We are at school." Aly said looking down mentally slapping herself.

"Well, I was just...wondering, if we could hang out, chat ya know." She explained.

"Awe, I think that's a great idea." You smiled.

"Great. We'll talk at lunch!" She said before waving and walking down the hall.

You sighed. "Chat."

"Hey Richards." You heard a familiar voice say.

"Potter." You said looking up.

"Aly Phillips Huh?" He said smirking.

"What? Uh yeah." You chuckled embarassingly.

"I think she likes yah mate." Harry said patting your shoulder.

"Hope not." You confessed wearily.

"Why is that?" Harry asked.

"Uh, we're just too much alike." You replied flipplantly.

"I thought that was a good thing." Harry responded.

"Oh trust me man. Too much of anything is not good." You said in a all to knowing manner putting your arm around his shoulder.

"I suppose." Harry replied in disarray.

"See yah around man." You said going into your class.
