Lost In A Moment.

Hannah's blue eyes followed Alex as he walked over to one of the tables at Zia's Café which was where he worked. From what Hannah had gathered, the people working there and the customers really loved having him there. She smiled slightly as she watched Alex laugh at something one of the elderly women said. 'I'll be right back with your orders, ladies,' Alex said and smiled before giving the two a firm nod. He walked over to the counter and told the cook behind the counter what the ladies wanted.

'Hannah! You're here,' Alex said and smiled eagerly as he looked at her. She laughed quietly. 'I said I would be.' He laughed, grinned and then nodded as he took the coffee mug and walked over to one of the customers who had requested some more. Alex smiled at the guy, poured black coffee into the white cup on the counter while he talked to the guy about football. 'Can I get you anything else?' he asked after a few minutes and the customer smiled and shook his head negatively.

Alex walked back to where Hannah was waiting. 'What do you wanna do today?' he asked and Hannah shrugged while she smiled. 'I don't know, to be honest. My... My parents are gone for the afternoon,' she spoke and Alex grinned as she continued, 'we could go and watch a movie at my house, if you want to that is.'

He opened his mouth to answer Hannah's question, when his name was called out. Alex turned around and saw the cook standing there with two plates in his hands. 'Table 4 is done,' he said and nodded as he turned around and gave Hannah a quick, 'I'll be right back, okay?' Hannah smiled and nodded as she watched Alex walk over to where the cook was waiting with the plates.

Ten minutes later, Alex had changed out of his work clothes and was wearing his usual outfit consisting of a pair of dark skinny jeans, a plain, black T-shirt and a dongeri jacket on top, making him look comfortable, casual and insanely hot at the same time. Alex said his goodbyes to his fellow co-workers and skipped over to Hannah who stood by the chair she'd been sitting on for the past thirty minutes. He stopped next to her and wrapped his arm casually around her shoulders as the two of them started walking towards the exit door. 'Hi,' he said and smiled as he looked down at her seeing as he was talking than her. Hannah laughed, 'Hi 'Lex,' she whispered. Alex grinned.

'So... Do your offer still stand?' Alex asked as the two of them walked over to Alex's car.

She looked at him confused as Alex opened the passenger seat. 'My- My offer? What do you mean?' she asked and jumped into the car. He closed the door and leaned in through the open window. 'Catching a movie at your place,' he said and Hannah blushed as she realized what he had been talking about. 'Right, I said that didn't I?' she whispered and Alex chuckled as he leaned in and pressed his lips against hers, completely taking her off guard. Hannah didn't respond and just sat there with her lips pressed against his. He pulled back and laughed as he looked at her. 'You... You look petrified,' he whispered as he softly hit the front of his car softly with his fist before he moved over to the driver's seat. He jumped inside and Hannah turned around. 'I'm... You just shocked me. I- I'm still not used to this. You and me. It's... Weird,' she answered and Alex laughed as he put the key into the ignition. 'Weird? Wow. That's... That's a first.'

Hannah giggled and blushed as she pulled her hand through her brown hair. 'It's a nice kind of weird though?' she replied as Alex started the car. 'Just... a nice weird thing I need to get used to.'

Alex nodded. 'I understand babe! I'm not going to stop kissing you though,' he said and smirked as he quickly glanced over at Hannah who blushed and rested her head against the cold window, staring at the scenes they passed by. He leaned over and turned the radio on, humming to whatever song that was playing. Hannah loved the fact that they didn't have the need to talk all the time. They could sit together for 30 minutes without having to say one thing to each other.

An hour later Alex pulled up in front of Hannah's house. He stopped the car and the two of them jumped out of the car, moving towards the front door. 'So, what have you been doing today?' Alex asked as he watched Hannah find her key. She pulled it out and opened the door within seconds. 'not much. School and that's pretty much it,' she answered and giggled as she entered the house. Alex followed suitly. 'What about you?' Hannah asked Alex who chuckled while he removed his Nikes. 'Work,' he answered and took his dongeri jacket off, hanging it on the staircase pole. Hannah turned around and looked at him, raising an eyebrow as she said, 'and school.'

Alex looked at Hannah and chuckled, 'Which movie do you wanna see?' he asked as he walked up the staircase. Hannah looked at him and couldn't help but wonder why he acted so strange every time she asked about school or his family.

Hannah hurried up the staircase and looked at Alex who stood outside her bedroom, waiting for her. 'Pirates of the Caribbean?' Alex suggested and smirked. She looked at him for a couple of seconds before she walked over to her bedroom door, opening it. She entered the room and Alex followed. 'Yeah... Pirates of the Caribbean sounds good. I love Jack Sparrow,' she answered and giggled as she walked over to her movie collection. Alex laughed and sat down on the edge of her bed.

'Your room is nice,' he answered and Hannah glanced at him quickly. 'Thank you,' she replied and went back to looking through the DVDs. Alex continued to take in the rest of Hannah's bedroom. That's when he noticed her huge CD collection and he couldn't help but walk over and look at it. He smiled as he saw a lot of bands or artists he listened to himself.

'Yeah, I- I kinda have an obsession with CDs,' Alex heard Hannah speak. He turned around and smiled at her. 'Me too. I love having the actual CD in my hand, you know. It's not the same as having it digitally,' Alex spoke and walked over to where Hannah was standing. She smiled and nodded as she held the DVD in her hand. 'Totally,' she whispered and looked into Alex's brown eyes. He smiled and leaned down which made Hannah think he would kiss her. Instead, he whispered, 'Let's watch this, shall we?' She laughed and nodded as she pushed her hand against Alex's chest making him stumble slightly backwards.

Alex and Hannah sat on the sofa, watching Pirates of the Caribbean when Hannah suddenly blurted out, 'my friends want to meet you.'

Alex turned his head around and looked at her. 'What?'

Hannah blushed. 'I...' she said and tried to think of what to say. She didn't want him to know that she'd said his name while being asleep in the cafeteria. 'Yeah, they found out that I had met someone and they... They really wanna meet you.'

'Oh.'

'Jack is having a party this weekend,' Hannah said and looked at Alex who shifted slightly. 'And Emily said that I should ask you if you wanna come,' she continued while looking at everything Alex did. He smiled weakly. 'Listen 'Lex, you... You don't have to, I mean, I told her we're not even that serious, that we're just friends, and just... Hanging out,' Hannah said and looked at Alex who frowned slightly and quickly glanced over at the TV screen. 'But I promised her I would ask you.'

'Sure, I'd love to meet your friends.'

'I mean, if you don't... What?' Hannah asked when she realized Alex had spoken a full sentence for the first time since she'd blurted out the invitation. Alex laughed and grabbed Hannah's cheeks, caressing them with his thumbs. 'I said, I would love to meet your friends.'

Hannah grinned. 'Oh.'

Alex laughed, 'now be quiet! Jack's about to kick some ass,' he whispered and winked as he turned his head around and stared at screen. Hannah bit her bottom lip and giggled as she ressumed the movie position, though the fact that Alex would meet her friends in a couple of days, never left her mind.
